Flat top isn't so flat

I just bought this griddle, easy assembly. I wanted to get it set up properly before I went out and bought the propane. I noticed the griddle surface was not flat, it bowed in the middle so I couldn't get it really level. How would food cook in the oil if the oil always went to the sides? I am very disappointed, it isn't like any flat top I have ever seen.

Fair for the Price

Used this griddle for 9 days while camping. Cooking 2 meals or more on it a day. Went through 7 one pound bottles. Highly suggest adapting to a bigger bottle. This thing chews through the propane. Cooks well but does lose heat quickly when using water or pans for smash burgers. However it makes a mean breakfast. Would recommend if your not interested in spending Blackstone or name brand money.

great grill but

This is a great grill but you need to do your research about them. First of if you get the Colman propane bottles it will last only 15-30 minutes. If you want to hook ups 20 gallon propane tank you need to get a hose with an adjustable regulator to work properly. Otherwise the 29 gallon tank forces the propane out to hard and won’t light or lights up for about 2 seconds. I bought three regulators till I got the right one now I can adjust the flow properly to the grill can handle 1-10 pounds of pressure. This is the regulator I got 30PSIG. Hope this helps. Camp Grill

I ordered this tabletop grill to take in our travel trailer. The package came torn but still intact. After opening box and taking out grill realized griddle was covered in some kind of black greasy preservative? Grill was too large for convenience in travel trailer and greasy griddle was turnoff. I returned this grill I store for a full refund.

It's okay, but definitely not a Blackstone

Built flimsy, easy to bend where legs fashion too. My griddle plate is dome-shaped from the factory not flat. There are complaints about the top being rough and food sticking that is because they did not season it well before using. Go ahead and spend the extra money for a Blackstone

Tabletop griddle poor condition

I purchased this product for a Fathers Day gift yesterday. He opened the box today and found the bottom edges rusted and the cook surface mottled and in poor condition. Though the box was filled intact and factory sealed, the griddle looks as if it's been sitting out in the weather for months.

Good news is that the griddle top can be fully restored! Begin by removing the griddle from the burner box, dampen the surface with water. With protective gloves and steel wool, scrub the areas of concern until the rust has been lifted from the surface. Rinse the surface thoroughly. Do not allow griddle to stand in water. Dry thoroughly. Follow the full SEASONING steps outlined in your manual. Nice Grill - But Griddle Warps easily

Bought the grill a few months ago and followed the instructions for breaking in and seasoning the griddle. Unfortunately, I realized this ended up warping the griddle portion. Read some reviews later that said to do this differently and add heat slower. The instructions heat the griddle up too quickly which causes it to warp. Otherwise, love the adjustability of the griddle and the grease trap in the front. Very portable as well, we take it in our camper.

Nice grill except……

The grill is nice. Easy to season with high heat oil except in the corners of the griddle. Portability is really nice too. My only complaint is the warranty. Instruction book says 1 year warranty which is fine except my propane gas connector/went out and I called for warranty replacement. They wanted to charge $16.00 for shipping the replacement. Are u kidding me? At that price you can go online and buy a new one with shipping included and have money left over for an ice cream cone! Warranty services is a bit disappointing.
