Your feedback regarding the need for an adapter has been passed along.The 22" Tabletop Griddle is designed to be used with a 1lb/16 0z. propane tank only. Any attempt to connect a different regulator to any connections other than the included connector would void your warranty and could result in fires, explosions, injuries, or property damage. This griddle is NOT convertible to any other fuel source (such a natural gas) or LP cylinder size. With that in mind, we are always looking for feedback for future models. Your suggestion is valued.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We’re sorry to hear that the seasoning process didn’t go smoothly. When you find the seasoning is turning into a “goo” rather than a coating, either too much oil was used when seasoning the griddle, or the heat was too low or turned off too soon, which did not allow the oil to fully burn off. Good news is, there is an easy fix. Just turn your griddle on to “MAX” and let it heat for 10-15 minutes. Then scrape as much of the remaining thickened and partially cooked oil as you can into the grease trap and empty. If your Griddle top is not achieving high enough temperatures to burn off the oil, you may have activated the flow limiting feature in the regulator which would require a regulator reset.The regulator's flow limiting device is a safety system can be reset by turning the burner knobs to the “OFF” position and disconnecting the propane cylinder from the regulator. Wait five minutes to allow the pressure to dissipate. Ensure control knobs are still in the “OFF” position before reconnecting the propane cylinder to the regulator. If this doesn’t solve the issue, perform a leak test. Thank you for taking time to reach out with your concerns. Lead is not a component of our Hot Rolled Steel griddle surface. The components with brass and PCBs, such as the orifice of a valve (in manifold assembly), regulator (internal parts), contain a low amount of lead. We are required by California law to include the Lead warning for any cooking appliance that contains Lead in any of it's parts. Regardless of if they come in direct contact with the food. In this case the parts containing lead are internal. Hope that helps and eases your concern!
