Bought this a month ago...seasoned this as instructed...never got above 300 degrees....why?

Thank you for taking time to leave a review and feedback. The 22" Tabletop Griddle is designed to be used with a 1lb propane tank only. Any attempt to connect a different regulator to any connections other than the included connector would void your warranty and could result in fires, explosions, injuries, or property damage. This griddle is NOT convertible to any other fuel source or LP cylinder size.

So far so good.

The instructions for seasoning the griddle were simple and straight forward. It does go through propane rather quickly so you might want to purchase an adapter to run it off of a 20 pound cylinder.

Heard how great having a griddle while camping was but also how so many were using it at their homes for big breakfasts, etc. We bought this and used it on two camping trips. So far its been great. Very glad we bought it.

warped

It’s a nice grill, but it warped after 2 uses. I followed the directions, but should have read reviews. Others talk about a different way to break it in that doesn’t cause the warping. Very disappointed.

It is very common for griddles to expand and contract during heating and cooling, and in some cases with thermal shock the griddle can warp or pop-up temporarily, but will correct itself. This is likely to occur in the first couple months of use but will correct itself with continued use.
