For years I have climbed on my roof to blow out the leaves and other tree debris 3-4 times a year. I've tried a couple of other products with mixed results and did not want the expense of one-piece gutter guards. The reviews of this product were good and looked like something I could install myself. I've now completed around 1/3 of my gutters and am pleased with the quality of the product and how it is relatively easy to install. I used the self tapping screws (supplied with my order) to secure these guards. You can install using the adhesive tape option but I wonder if over time the adhesive would not hold up. It is tedious in that you have to do a section, come down and move the ladder over and then climb up to do the next section. The hardest part of the installation is when you come to a eve in your roof line and have to do special cuts and bends. That slows down your installation and probably accounts for over 50% of your time. If there were no cuts to make I would probably be finished with the whole house by now. We're in the middle of my oak trees shedding the little "tree worms" and they have not stuck to the sections I have installed. I'm sure in the future there will be leaves that will get caught in the sections where these guards meet, but it should never affect the water flow coming off the roof. Overall, very pleased with this product.

We're done a lot of research on roofing, and what would make our lives easier. Once the last hurricane in Florida forced us to re-do our roof, we wanted something to help with the gutters. We bought Gutter Guard - after extensive research, and we are immensely pleased! They are easy to use, and our gutter people added them to our home to apparent ease. After extensive research I found that Stainless Steel Gutter Guards to be the best product on the market. During my research I discovered that Sam's Club offered the best price. They arrived at our house in a timely fashion. Installation was easier and quicker than I expected . I highly recommend Stainless Steel Gutter Guards and if I were to need gutters in the future Stainless Steel Gutter Guards will be my only choice.

I purchased and installed these about a month ago and so far I am impressed. The installation went smoothly and the instructions were easy to follow and understand. I also watched some installation videos that helped. I have a lot of trees around and for the most part, the leaves and debris gets blown off by the wind or washed off by the water flow at the beginning of a rain shower. The leaves/debris do tend to collect in the valleys of the roof and tend to not wash off but that's not the fault of the guard. I recommend getting some kind of rake or brush attached to a pole to clear these areas from the ground. Overall I am very satisfied with the product.

As advertised, This product was easy to install. I opted to use the included screws and the included nut driver. I installed almost 70 feet in about 4 hours. It was easier than I thought. Once I figured out the motion needed to slip it under the existing shingles it went on fast. Had to clean by gutters twice in 6 months before this product. I can already see the leaves blowing off the gutters.

I have not put mine on yet, but my father and my sister has and do nothing but rave about the product. We have a log house which is very important to make sure that the gutters are cleaned out. As we are getting older it's getting a little trickier getting up on the rubes so we are so excited to get working on getting these on. My 72 year old father put these on his cabin as well as my sisters home. Installation was a breeze.

I need something that is going to work. I had planted 12 trees around my property over the last 20 years and of course I have a lot of leaves. I needed something that is going to keep leaves and seed pods out of my gutters. I had these gutter guards installed after the gutters were blown out for a hip style ranch house. There is no way possible a leaf can get through there. While the guy was installing them the birch tree was shedding it's leaves and they just rolled on over the gutter guards.

Replaced old gutter screen on one section of gutters so far. Installation went pretty smoothly, once I figured out how to deal with overlap areas. Worked perfectly during a downpour the next afternoon. Have now moved on to replace 2 more sections of old gutter screen. Installation gets easier with each section.

Recently built a pole barn and had gutter guard installed. Installers said self tapping screws provided were not long enough to work properly but just used longer ones. Otherwise installation was done quickly with no other concerns. The day after installation had a monsoon and guards worked well letting water drain. Will have to wait till fall to see how well it works on leaves.

Just finished installing over 300ft of the product on asphalt shingle roof. Guards slid under the shingles on the straight runs with ease. I used a long flat head screwdriver to lift and edge and then slid a corner under and slid the rest of the guard under (like a zipper). Corners were the hardest to install due to the way the shingles were installed. Once I got a few under my belt it was straight forward (just more time consuming than the straight runs). The guards fit so snugly on my system that screws were not needed. The biggest help you can have is a tall enough ladder as I had to contort my back on some aspects of my home due to my ladder. I have not had any down pours yet (as we typically get in Central Texas) but all of the oak leaves blow away without issue. So far the product is as expected. I will have to wait for a down pour to give it 5 stars.
