Great guards, easy install. Quality materials.

Easy to install, great materials, should last many years of normal weather. Only downside is corners in the gutter requires cutting angles to fit, and can be a little tricky or take a couple tries at first. I left extra screen beyond the aluminum rails so the two cut corners would overlap some. Straight runs are easy and quick. It took a couple hours to clean out gutters prior to installing used rubbing alcohol to clean off top edge of gutter for best tape bond. Let it sit in a sunny day to cure tightly to cutter. Mine didn't need the screws. I'll double check them after the first good storm here in OK City. Maybe I'll put a few of the supplied screws in if any come loose. How easy? I've put up over 160 feet of guards in about 6 hours, with 3 corners. Once you start it's pretty easy going, unless you have a difficult roofing material to work with. If so, ask a friend to help, and it will go smoothly. And I've used a cordless 4in grinder with a cutting (thin) disk and it goes through the guard like butter to cut angles.

Gutter Guards

These have a good feel to them. Not lightweight or flimsy. Installed well. We used the screws rather than tape. Chose these as the ridgid screen is right and looked like it would keep out the maple pods and leaves well. Covered gutters very well and appear as if they should last many years.

Easy to Install on Tile Roof

Have concrete tiles on my roof in Arizona. Was very easy to install the Gutter Guards. Put on a good pair of gloves and just slid the bottom tile up about 8". After attaching the Gutter Guard with the tape, I lifted and slid the tile back in place, being sure that the tile extended beyond the edge of the fascia board. I did not need any screws as the weight of the concrete tiles held the rear portion of the Gutter Guard in place. See attached photo.

Installs easy. Looks good. Should work good too.

Easy install on my asphalt roof. Installed first box in 40 minutes going 42 feet long. I had a box of 44'. Looks good. No issues on install. Not sure yet how well it works but will see after next rain. I also got a free brush for registering coming in 2 weeks. Apparently to sweep off top if leaves collect?

Gutterglove Gutter Guard Kit

It has been over three months since I purchase this product from Sam's Club. I have tried many different types of gutter guards and they all eventually failed. They either cave in, the rain goes over them in a heavy storm or they wear. These guards are very well made and designed. They are not all stainless. The screen is heavy stainless steel. The leading and trailing edges are thick aluminum. The screen is so tight; it will not allow shingle crumbs to enter. You will need to brush the surface off once a year, or maybe more if you get a lot of pine needles. The guards are easy to install, however, I suggest you use a miter cutoff saw with a metal cutting blade to cut angles or different lengths. Both leading and trailing edges are thick aluminum. Trying to cut them with metal cutting shears or snips will wear you down quickly. The only problems are where splash shields were screwed on to the gutters. You will have to cut the leading edge off or drill holes to accept the metal screws (See photo). Each guard is 47.5" long. They come with hex screws. The leading edge also has an adhesive. You pull the red adhesive cover and the leading edge will stick firm. You might want to clean the gutter edge so the adhesive will stick. I used a few screws for short cut lengths. I highly recommend you "do it yourself" people purchase these shields. My gutters have taken very heavy rain, wind and debris and if you install correctly and follow the directions and tips, you will finally have worry free gutters. For the past three months, the gutters are still clean with no mold, mildew, rot, water or plants growing from wet shingle crumbs and debris. Good luck.

GutterGlove Gutter Guards

Was having Leaf Filter installed on my home. Checked their work and they were shortcutting on the installation. I cancelled their installation and went online and purchased GutterGlove, silicon sealant for gutters and was even able to buy the hidden gutter supports. Spent about $1,000 in material and I couldn't be happier with the GutterGlove product.

Works Well - Install with Screws

Installed with provided self-tapping screws using a battery-powered driver. Installation was straight-forward (following instructions). Note: I’ve installed same guards years ago on another house. Adhesive strips did not work well for me; so I’d recommend using the screws for a more secure installation. At this previous house, the guards with micro-screen mesh work very well. They keep gutters clean while allowing water to flow into the gutters.

Good product, poor packaging.

Good product that is easy to install. I've used the other gutter guards with larger openings and pine needles, certain types of oak and elm leaves just seemed to stay stuck in them year round. Skeptical at first, after installing a short section I tested them out using a water hose to see how well the water ran into them. Most of the water just ran off instead of going into the gutters! Then I read that the screen must be wet before they would allow water to penetrate the screen. Alas, they work awesome. I installed the remaining 300 ft. and have had two rains since. They work great and leaves will just roll off in the rain or blow off in the wind. No more gutters to clean! The only complaint I have was the packaging technique they use. Most of the ends of each section were bent during shi*ping which added significant time in having to straighten out each end with a pair of pliers. A small piece of foam rubber included in each end of the box most likely would have prevented this. For that, I can only give 4 stars.

Poor design

Installed gutter glove guard 1 month ago in Michigan first snow they iced up and when the snow started to melt the gutter guard wouldn’t let the water in the gutter then froze after it went over the edge of the gutter and made an ice dam and ice cycles dripping off the gutter 2 snow did the same not made for winter weather removed and returned
