The product is great, but...

We bake these on a regular basis in my household. We decided to try them the air fryer for once, and after the cook time was up, the fish was still frozen solid on the inside. We ended up just baking them instead. The air fryer directions say 390°F for 9 minutes. No flipping, or anything else. It seems like they only printed half of the instructions, because there's no way it's accurate.

I tried..

I tried, I really tried to like this Cod. I'm single so I cook 2-3 at a time... tried it deep fried cooked at different time lengths, tried it air fried, tried it in the oven... every time no matter how I cooked it short of under cooking or over cooking it turned out mushy. Mush, mush, mush! The outside crisps up real nice but the inside is mush! I thought it was user era (me) so I gave 2 pieces to my neighbor to cook, same thing - mush. Maybe I got a bad box, maybe not... not willing to spend money on another box just to see.

Two thumbs down!

Sam's club used to carry a battered cod in a red, yellow, and white box; could you please try to bring that version back, it was the only fish my son would eat? My husband is a Marine who will eat just about anything, & he wouldn't touch this current version of your beer-battered cod with a ten foot pole.

Recent purchase made everyone sick.

We have purchased this item before, and it seemed fine. However, the most recent purchase got everyone who consumed it sick. Not just a little stomachache. It was a borderline ER-visit type of sick. So we cannot recommend this to another member at this time.

This Product Is Not Acceptable

We have tried this product several times, since our club stopped carrying anything from Seapak. Visual inspection, the oil in the frier in which they were processed needed changing a week before these lots were done. There are burnt bits embedded in the exposed fish and breading. Yes, there are areas of exposed fish where the batter dripped away. The breading on this fish has a strange taste, something isn't right. It was a dark day when management stopped carrying products made by Seapak and instead decided to solely push the Members Mark low quality version of battered fish. They did the same thing with battered shrimp. My observation are just a little kinder for the shrimp. My criteria for frozen seafood that is battered or breaded is buy anything but Members Mark at least once. Just because we live three hours from your competitor doesn't mean that you have a captive market. Sorry, I didn't tell ya to not carry anything of any sort. The variety at this store is getting worse and worse and worse. As if the manager lost some sort of bet and had to reduce variety in the freezer section by 50%.

Full of bones

Bones, way too many. Would never serve them to children. I would not buy again.
