Great for air fryer

These cod filets are really good,they're also pretty affordable too.My only tiny complaint is that I wish they'd make these in a crunchy tempura style breading instead of the beer-batter breading.I hope they get other varieties of seafood too like a Members Mark coconut shrimp for example.

People who don't like this are just nuts! This is the best store-bought breaded fish fillet you can get anywhere that's reasonably priced for this kind of fish. For those who are observing Lent, I highly recommend this fish. This makes such a great fish sandwich, forget going out to a fast food place and getting a fish sandwich. This is as good if not better than some of the fish sandwiches out there.

As another reviewer wrote, the Air Fryer cook time of 9 minutes @390 degrees is incorrect. I cooked 3 pieces and set it and the first fish I ate was raw inside. I hope I don't get sick, I just finished now. I put the other two back and cooked them another 2 minutes @400 degrees but it still was not enough. I would say they need to be cooked 13-15 minutes. This was a real turn off.

We bake these on a regular basis in my household. We decided to try them the air fryer for once, and after the cook time was up, the fish was still frozen solid on the inside. We ended up just baking them instead. The air fryer directions say 390°F for 9 minutes. No flipping, or anything else. It seems like they only printed half of the instructions, because there's no way it's accurate.

I tried, I really tried to like this Cod. I'm single so I cook 2-3 at a time... tried it deep fried cooked at different time lengths, tried it air fried, tried it in the oven... every time no matter how I cooked it short of under cooking or over cooking it turned out mushy. Mush, mush, mush! The outside crisps up real nice but the inside is mush! I thought it was user era (me) so I gave 2 pieces to my neighbor to cook, same thing - mush. Maybe I got a bad box, maybe not... not willing to spend money on another box just to see.

We have purchased this item before, and it seemed fine. However, the most recent purchase got everyone who consumed it sick. Not just a little stomachache. It was a borderline ER-visit type of sick. So we cannot recommend this to another member at this time.

I was really disappointed, it's a shame because the fish quality is excellent. However it is laden with oil causing the breading to be gluey and mush right under the outer part that gets crispy. There was over a 1/2 inch of oil at the bottom of an 8' air fryer, that's a lot!
