ALL THINGS AWESOME SHOULD BE ON THE SHELF!

I have been using 4C breadcrumbs for over 40 years. We moved to KY and couldn't find them anywhere except Sam's Club. The only problem is Sam's only sells them online, and not in the store. It's a great price for a great product, and I see no reason why these wouldn't be in store on the shelf. They would literally fly away if they were. A kitchen staple and brand name that has been around for generations!

Best Consistency

I have used this brand of Bread Crumbs for many years. They are flavored just right. The blend of crumbs with the seasoning is not to fine or to coarse.

SEASONED BREAD CRUMBS

Certainly more than I would buy at one time given the choice, however, a great price, good taste and stays fresh.

Great product, but...

I love this product & have been using it for years. It had been available in-store, but now must be ordered online. It's (2) 46 oz containers packed together. However, when I bought it recently, I had to buy (2) of those packages. That's right, (4) 46 oz packages. I called my local store & they agreed it was bizarre. They tried forcing it through for me, but discovered as I did, that it's 2 packages of 2 for $16, not 2 containers for $8. I really needed them, so I ordered, with the intention of returning the 2nd package, as the store rep told me I could. Bottom line, it's silly for anyone, except a restaurant to have to buy this much at one time. I'm sure it's a computer glitch somewhere & I hope eventually it's fixed. I can see how this could cause some people to not buy the product. Seems to me they could increase sales by having it available in-store, or stop this silly online"must buy 2". If not for this issue, id give 5 stars

Ok brand as a substitute for Progresso brand

This brand of bread crumbs is very similar and like Progresso bread crumbs, but less in price. I remember when Sam’s club used to sell Progresso and I wish they would bring back Progresso . This brand is more economical, though, and it looks and taste almost the same. But I can only give 4 stars rating as it’s NOT Progresso brand which is the best brand (my opinion). Sam’s Club should sell Progresso again.

Not Italian Bread Crumbs

Disappointed ☹️ that my usual “Progresso” Italian bread crumbs haven't been available for several months (probably a lot longer) and picked these up instead. My husband noticed the difference immediately. We find them chunkier than our usual and definitely no where near as tastier than our usual. Find my self having to add all kinds of seasonings and spices to these crumbs to get the desired effect for my cooking needs. Progresso had it all! Sam's ruined a good thing by now not carrying them anymore. I won't be buying bread crumbs from Sam's anymore unless they bring back Progresso. I guess if you want just bread crumbs without anything seasonings and “chunkier” then I guess these bread crumbs will suffice but they definitely aren't for my family!

I now know why ingredients are not listed!

I went by the description of quality ingredients. But to my dismay High Fructose Corn Syrup was an ingredient included. Also Sesame and Caraway seeds which family members are allergic to. These will have to be donated as returning is not an option. Also Bioengineered food ingredients should not be considered quality ingredients.

Excessive fillers in the ingredients list

Plethora of ingredients not disclosed online on Sam's website. I bought it thinking it would be bread crumbs, spices Romano cheese. The website says " Made from high quality ingredients". Never again! The list was so long that I couldn't even read half the filler "ingredients". Many other options out there that are way better. I hope going forward, Sam's club will list all the ingredients so people can make an informed decisions

Nasty Crumbs

These are not bread crumbs. They are nasty crumbs. Would not recommend. Sams needs to sell plain bread crumbs. Cheese and seasoning can be added as needed so they arn’t nasty tubs of crumbs.
