[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG WM3400CW Washer as my second choice. The deciding factor was the dimensions of the washer. Since, the last time I bought a washer the dimensions overall had increased in size compared to my old one. Which caused a lot of problems of getting ones into the designated laundry space. The washer capacity is larger than old washer, I was able to wash a queen size comforter easily. Our clothes comes out cleaner and smelling great. I am still getting use to how long the wash cycles are.

I am happy with the size and what appears to be a well built machine. I am not happy with the poor instructions and confusing operating display. The instructions reference buttons that are not on my machine. I have been unable to date to figure out how increase drying time or raise the heat. It does dry the clothes but on occasion I have to run the machine a second time so it seems that the dry sensor isn't working just right.

We bought this LG washer less than a month ago. So far, we've noticed that the LG seems to do a better job of cleaning than the washer it replaced. At the end of the cycles the washed items are also dryer than they were with the old machine, which means less time in our dryer. The LG appears to do a better job of automatically balancing the load during spin cycles. We're happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is excellent for getting kiddo stains and clothes clean. BUT although I clean the drum and excess water it has a lingering rotten egg smell that gets left behind I keep door cracked too. I run a drum clean cycle once every other week not sure why the smell is so bad again washer is less than 2 years old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PROs: This machine is so quiet and has helped save on water consumption. It has a good selection of load settings which have handled all types of loads get effectively and efficiently cleaned. CON: If you are a senior person with difficulty bending to reach into the washing machine, it is sometimes hard to reach small articles of clothing that are at the back of the drum ( we use a grabber so no real issues).

We bought our LG washing machine a few weeks ago, and are very pleased with it. Along with its partner dryer, the combination fits perfectly in a closet, and is very easy to use. I use less detergent than before, and the clothes come out just right every time.

We were very excited to purchase this washer after having to get rid of our 20 year old device. Though the price was what we wanted to pay, the unit feels very fragile with so many plastic components. We were very disappointed to see just how "breakable" it feels- the door, the front panel, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first front loader I have purchased and I am really happy with it. It is easy to use, gets the clothes really clean, has a lot of different settings for different clothing types and level of dirtiness, is fairly quiet and is energy efficient. I would recommend this washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer a month ago and I am very pleased with it. I found that it cleans the clothing much better. I love that it is almost silent. The various settings help getting the washing the way you want it, whether it is heavily soiled or very delicate lingerie. It does the work perfectly. I highly recommend it especially for short people who have problem getting the clothes out from a top loader.

My wife and I have owned several LG washers and dryers over the years and have never had an issue with them. I do think it's important however, to follow good washing and drying practices to increase the longevity of the machines. For instance, my wife cleans the filter regularly to remove any debris that happens to come loose from clothing and she does find string and lint build-up in this filter. She also doesn't overload the machine and uses the tub clean option regularly as well. We recently moved to a new home and have only owned this new set for a few weeks, but we are very happy with the performance so far. And just like our LG washers and dryers of the past, plan to take good care of these as well. The are an investment after all and should be treated as such. If for some reason we should need customer service in the future, I'm hopeful the experience will be just as good.
