[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First washer I've purchased for myself. Overall pleased with only a few minor "complaints". Some of the spin/fill cycles can be a little loud and water accumulates in the seal of the drum but it seems like that's common with most front load washers. Other than that I like all the options and ease of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about 8 washes I am happy with this choice. It has all the features I care about or need. Who needs WiFi for doing laundry? That's a wasted couple of hundred bucks. This machine is quiet, looks great and is highly rated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently bought an LG stackable washer and dryer, and love it! It has a large capacity, is super quiet, and energy efficient. I love the settings and options that allow us to choose the temperatures, times, etc. for each load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my LG washer and dryer for about 1 yr now and love them! I have had no issues whatsoever. Its much quieter than my previous top loaders and does a phenomenal job with clothes coming out clean. I’ve also noticed my water bills have gone down. The only drawbacks i see are you can’t flip the door opening. If you have your dryer on the left, like mine is, its awkward to move things from the washer to the dryer. The other issue is I wish there was an internal light. Its not always easy to find that missing sock in the dark. 😄

The only thing I'm not so fond of, is the fact that when I put something of a little heavier weight, it tends to shake the machine. So I had one of your Techs out & he explained how to prevent that & I was quite satisfied with that. ( :

I replaced my 16 year old LG dryer a month ago. I love the LG brand and my new dryer hasn't let me down. It has the same wonderful features and high quality as my old LG. Efficient, quite, large capacity, settings for every need and has a beautiful appearance. I couldn't be happier!

After more than 58 years of marriage and never having a matching washer/dryer combo, I was thrilled when these appliances were installed. I thought I knew how to sort, wash and dry laundry. I read the instructions. What a period of adjustment came next! First the hot and cold faucets were mismarked, so the installers hooked them up wrong. It was extremely frustrating to set tap water cold wash and then have my glasses fog up from the heat at the cycle's end. Soon that problem was solved with a service call. My first dryer load wasn't dry at the end of the cycle. It took some time to discern exactly what settings would result in dry clothes. Persistence pays, so now I'm satisfied with the machines. They are very complicated to run, but hopefully they are saving water and power as advertised.

Some good, some not so much. Pros: Very quiet Cons: Side opening door. You don't realize how much a downward opening door is better till its gone. One LG model had a way to operate in either direction, they all need this. No interior light is a terrible cheap saving idea some very short-sighted pencil pusher came up with. Manual has almost no operational instructions, just repetitious installation warnings. Auto dryness sensing is poor with mix of light and heavy fabrics (ie. towels and sheets).

My wife and I have owned several LG washers and dryers over the years and have never had an issue with them. I do think it's important however, to follow good washing and drying practices to increase the longevity of the machines. For instance, my wife cleans the filter regularly to remove any debris that happens to come loose from clothing and she does find string and lint build-up in this filter. She also doesn't overload the machine and uses the tub clean option regularly as well. We recently moved to a new home and have only owned this new set for a few weeks, but we are very happy with the performance so far. And just like our LG washers and dryers of the past, plan to take good care of these as well. The are an investment after all and should be treated as such. If for some reason we should need customer service in the future, I'm hopeful the experience will be just as good.

I’m not happy I keep getting small leaks and am told I need to use less detergent. I’m using less than two tablespoons. I had a technician out and he said he couldn’t find anything wrong and just keep using it. The machine is only two months old and this started 6 weeks so l couldn't return it.
