Not happy. Very difficult to learn the controls and what is possible, I can't easily find any good directions. Surprised that the 'Normal" load runs for 1.5 hours!! Unbelievable. The short wash seems too short at 15 minutes. Permanent press will be my go to I guess, at around an hour. Used to doing loads about 30 minutes. Then, no way to soak, if I press pause it turns off after a seeming short time. I feel like my clothes won't last long with these long loads and all that agitation. Delicate load is about 45 minutes, huh? Tried using the fast wash and got a hot rinse...? Still can't get used to the low water level. Don't put any powder soap on the drum, it will cake and not dissolve. Very disappointed that I'm married to this washer now. Need better directions, for a better initial experience.

Controls are simple/quick and detergent, softener tray is very convenient. I'm very happy with the washer so far after three months of use.

This machine works great, is very quiet, uses less soap, was rated by Consumer Reports & has a cute jingle to let you know the load is done. The only thing that I have found is that sometimes when doing rugs I have to stop the load and reposition it as it won't spin correctly until I do that. Otherwise a great machine!

I converted from from top load to front load washers with this machine. There is no longer any top load machine with a base frame that would stabilize the machine and have a quieter operation. I own this LG front load for 1 year so far and I am pleased with the washer's very quiet operation. Lack of an agitator means less punishment on my clothes. Even with the laundry door open, I can hardly hear the machine operating, with minimal floor vibration. Clothes come out almost dry with the high rotating speed around 1300 rpm, compared to 700 rpm for a front load machine. The machine works very well. I gave 4 stars because the control panel is not backlit so it is hard to see the settings. Without the backlight, I thought the washer was defective! I would have liked a setting of spin only - for items handwashed and needing a good spin only

I'm confident my clothes are thoroughly clean before I transfer them to the dryer. Also, love the chime rather than the buzzer when the cycle is finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer 6 weeks ago. The first time I used it, it sounded like a rocket was taking off. If was replaced without any problems and now I love it! It is quite, holds large loads has a lot of washing options. The only negative is the detergent dispenser has water in the cup when the load has completed- it needs to be wiped out after use.

We purchased this washer back in the middle of August. I have to say first off that our old machine was from 2008 and just going to a new model of 2020 no matter how inexpensive it is would be an improvement. That being said we are very happy with the way it washes and even on the “quick cycle” the clothes come out great. If I only have a small load I use that cycle. Noise wise I feel it is average but since we have a separate laundry area it’s not an issue. I read all the consumer reports and junked those and went only by reviews of people who actually had this washer. Not disappointed and would gladly recommend it!

I wash 3 times a week and at least 4-6 batches each day. Clothes always come out completely clean, the washer is quiet, has many different cycles for regular wash, delicate wash and everything in between. Love it and my LG dryer. Great products!!
