I bought this front load washer recently and I has far exceeded my expectations! I just discovered tha speed wash setting. I am so happy with this machine. It is FANTASTIC!

It washes my clothes, towels, and bedding so nicely. I love how it has separate features for the type of load you will be washing. Also, it doesn't smell. I've owned this machine for over a year now, and it doesn't smell!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this washer and the dryer a month ago. I am amazed at how quiet this machine is on spin cycle. Love the quick wash cycle. Gets everything clean.

Let me tell you: if you don't want your clothes to get dingy, DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE. It doesn't wash! It only dampens the clothes because it doesn't use enough water. There were times when I would take the clothes out after the wash cycle finished, and they weren't even wet. I understand the need to save water, but this is the worst high-efficiency machine out there!

So far I've been impressed by how thoroughly this unit cleans: It has removed stains and other discolorations that my previous washer did not. It's also significantly more quiet. The only concern I have is with the "detergent amount" learning curve: I seem to consistently make the wrong choice between 1 Tbs. and 2 Tbs. - and end up with a washer full of suds as a result! Not enough to set-off the suds sensor but, still, an alarming amount of foam from "he" detergent...

Hello! I bought this a while ago and have been using it fairly often (1-2/week). I bought a service contract for the maximum years so it covers the longest amount of time. (Good investment for this product 100%). The item started leaking earlier this year from the soap dispenser. Had the service tech come out and verify the leaking (leaked with no soap during their inspection). What was the cause? The spouts on top are angled in such a way that when water is passed through, it sprays onto the walls of the dispenser, which in turn sprays onto the tray and runs the length of it to the front and spills to the front panel. How to fix it? Replace the dispenser tray and dispenser box. Why does this work? because the part wears down over time and eventually becomes loose, allowing for water to seep. How hard is it to fix? Not hard at all, some clamps and screws to remove the top of the washer, the dispenser, and move the hoses over. Why should you care? If you have any kind of flooring that has cracks, is near walls or moulding on the floor, it will pool on the floor and cause damage to the house/subfloor. Recommendations to help prevent damage? Buy a vinyl/laminate floor mat for the washing machine to sit on.

New to my LG washer and dryer. I’m still confused as to why normal wash is 3H. I downloaded the Manuel. Is there any way to not have my wash go for 3H. Is there a reason someone will wash a load for 3 hours? Even some of the other settings are 60-90 minutes.

I've been using this washing machine for a couple of years and have been completely satisfied. It cleans my clothes, but is also gentle on them. I use the cold or low temperature settings and everything comes out clean. I can wash large items, like rugs, The machine has bells and whistles, but also obvious options (e.g., gentle and normal cycles) so I can accomplish what I want. Very happy with my purchase.
