Drum Bearing Problem
After less than 6 yrs use, the bearings on the drum went out. These are very costly to repair, due to the model's design. Chose this model b/c it did not have smart features. Replaced it.

Required accessories are not included
I contacted LG Help before purchasing this washer to find out if anything was needed for the installation - specifically hoses. I was assured that everything needed was included. The only accessory mentioned on the site is the optional pedestal. It was only after the installers left today that I read the owners manual that states that the hot and cold water hoses are REQUIRED ACCESSORIES that are sold separately. NO WHERE on this site are the required accessories mentioned. The LG help said there were none, and the installers said nothing. Now I have to buy the hoses and hire a plumber to install them. I am NOT happy.

Sams Club Cash is false advertising be careful
Sam's club offered Club cash if you purchased an appliance so we ordered two with a total of $100.00 Sams Cash however they will not give us the cash and now we have had no success to get anyone to admit they offered the Club Cash.

A lot of features
New to my LG washer and dryer. I’m still confused as to why normal wash is 3H. I downloaded the Manuel. Is there any way to not have my wash go for 3H. Is there a reason someone will wash a load for 3 hours? Even some of the other settings are 60-90 minutes.

Great washer, for 4 years
I love the way it washes. When we first got the washer it was soo quiet.! It washed everything so clean too. And then it started..after 4 years...to sound like a Cement mixer. Now it is dying. The repair person says the bearings are shot. Cost for repairs is high enough that I'm just going to buy another one. I do like it that much.

Excellent washing machine
I've been using this washing machine for a couple of years and have been completely satisfied. It cleans my clothes, but is also gentle on them. I use the cold or low temperature settings and everything comes out clean. I can wash large items, like rugs, The machine has bells and whistles, but also obvious options (e.g., gentle and normal cycles) so I can accomplish what I want. Very happy with my purchase.

Poor value
We have only owned this washer for five years and the bearings are shot (they started going bad after three years), and the fix is too expensive to make it worthwhile. It also has constant odors regardless of how often we clean it and empty the drain. Do not recommend.

Ok but a couple probs
One problem we’ve had is the tray for liquid soap, etc. is always full of water unless you gently tip it upwards and wait a couple minutes for it to empty. No big deal. The bigger problem is the gasket around the door is always full of moldy gunk black disgusting film. This is OK too if you’re willing to leave the door open to allow the interior to dry, and wipe the gasket after each use. This actually doesn’t help so I scrub with bleach and/or oxi after every wash. Pro tip: buy another model or brand that eliminates this step.
