We have had this gate for about a month and haven't had any problems with it. It fits very well on our stairs. I just wish the door opening was a little wider (for my wider hips).

We had the plastic tension gate forever and I am so glad we upgraded. My 5 year old can get through but it able to lock it back safely without getting fingers caught. It's sturdy and easy to install. I'm happy with it.

We use this gate for the top and bottom of our steps to keep our almost 2 yr old son safe! We only use the pressure mount and it works perfect! Very sturdy. And my son has pulled and pushed on it and it doesn't move! Very safe and effective!

The trick to this gate is the tension bars - make sure to look at picture example on how to turn to make tension. Well made and easy to open and close.

Weld where swinging gate connects to rest of gate is poorly done, our 1 year old and as able to pull it off after just a few days. Definitely not worth the money when there’s better gates for the same price

I found that this gate was great for its price as well as easy to install. But I have had some issues with the kids unlocking it with a good pull. If you tighten the pressure I think it would help the latch.

It's easy to put up,....but unless you are the size of Barbie or Ken this gate stinks! It's not easy to be holding your baby, walking sideways, shimming through the little opening. I'm returning it :(

We're pretty happy with the gate, the only thing we didn't like was the bar across the bottom is really easy to stub your toe on. Besides that, fits great and seems pretty baby proof so far.

The gate was not good for my stairs. I didn’t feel that it was tight enough so when we tighten it the door would not close.

Ordered two for bedrooms to prevent dogs from getting on top of beds. Dogs are content as they can see into bedrooms - just not able to get inside.
