Easy to put together and install, has worked great so far to keep our dog from going downstairs. The extra kit to screw into the wall I haven't used yet but seems like a good choice if needed for extra stability.

Very sturdy and well made, the only problem is that the opening is much more narrow that it appeared in the picture--just wide enough to get a vacuum through. I thought it would be a bit wider in the gate swinging area.

This gate looks like it would cost much more than $37, and works great! The locking mechanism is definitely kid proof, and it fits nice and tight in my doorway.

This gate is really nice. We just received it and I couldn't believe the price was so reasonable for such a great gate. We bought one for another door which was twice as much as this one and this one is just as nice. We love it!

The gate works well. There are a few things about the unit. One is that the walk through opening in the gate is very narrow and two is the 2" high metal threshold that you have to step over. It is a tripping hazard that you have to get used to.

A decent gate. Moving in and out is easy...only problem was when pressure mounted on the wooden banister it was sliding of with a little push which was not safe so we had to drill a screw into the banister

We bought this because we are expecting twins and have 6 dogs. We figured the less fussing with gates the better - and this gate sure does help. We put it up and it is amazingly strong and easy to use!! Great product!

Multiple applications possible but excellent for use at the top of a stairway; only drawback is the width of the opening - smaller than you may like but still useful as is and a good product for the price.

This was easy to set up, has held up to a lot of hard use and kids climbing on it. Overall I wish we had gotten it much sooner, and I wish we could have picked it up in a store instead of having to order it.

Really glad we purchased this gate. Very easy to set up and use. It has served our purpose very well! It is in heavy use everyday and still is in excellent condition. Very sturdy. Would recommend and buy again if I ever need to.
