Ignore all the bad reviews. I ordered 2 and both came in great condition. The only downside is that the door doesn't open in both directions (However, I knew this before buying it).

i decided to go with this gate simply because of the price. honestly times are tough right now and i was out for a bargain. i really like this gate and so far it has held up to my 8 month old hanging on it so it was worth it.

Very nice and sturdy gate. I bought 2 of these and am happy with the puchace. It has good locking sytem. good part is it can be pressure mounted as well as drilled to the wall to make the gates more safer. I would recommend this product to all.

This gate was easy to install. We liked it so much be bought a second one. The great thing about this gate is that you don't need the top and bottom of your doorway to be the same width. Our baseboards were no problem with this gate!

If you have baseboards it is a little challenging to set up but it does work well. I use it at the base of my stairs. Does not work well at the top of stairs due to the bar on the bottom.

I had been using those horrible tension gates both plastic and the wooden kind. I finally am thrilled with this gate. Its used for a dog but can be used for kids too. Its easy to open and shut with one hand. Sturdy but lightweight as well.

i love this gate. the only downside is that guests forget that its there and they've tripped over it. Other than that we love it. It was hard for me to get against the wall evenly but i made it work with my husbands help

The gate works well. There are a few things about the unit. One is that the walk through opening in the gate is very narrow and two is the 2" high metal threshold that you have to step over. It is a tripping hazard that you have to get used to.

We're pretty happy with the gate, the only thing we didn't like was the bar across the bottom is really easy to stub your toe on. Besides that, fits great and seems pretty baby proof so far.

I bought 2 of these gates and had to return both of them. The red tab broke on both just after using them a couple of times. I would NEVER buy these gates again and would NOT recommend these for anyone!!!!
