We have one of these gates on the door to every classroom in our child care. We love that they are not easy for the kids to open and are super sturdy. They can be hard to install if you have never used them before, but once you get the hang of it they are easy to take down and put back up.

I bought two of these gates when my daughter started walking to keep her out of the kitchen, and so far they work great. The walk-through feature and one-handed latch system are very convenient, and I love that I don't have to screw them into the wall and make permanent marks for them to work. The latch is complicated enough that my daughter can't work it, and yet easy for an adult to use. It took me longer to get them out of the box than it did to install them, and without any tools, too. I'm very pleased with them.

I am very happy with my regalo gates. I bought two gates to block off my kitchen and play room and confine our dog, mixed breed coon hound to the two rooms. The gates work fine and are doing the job. Installation was easy and secure and does not require any equipment other than your hands to tighten the parts that go on the wall. one opening is 40" and the other is 39", so we had to use the extension piece for both. the gates would not cover an opening any larger. price at Walmart was excellent. the gates were about half the price of a gate that I returned to Home Depot. delivery was also fine.

We got this gate for our chihuahua and dachshund. Our dachshund actually climbed over our cheap crisscross gate we had, and it was a pain to always have to step over it. It fits in our 33" doorway well. Only issue for me is my dachshund is rather small, so she was able to squeeze through the end between the wall and the last bar. The extension makes the baby gate too big, so for now, had to place the extension piece upright, sideways against the wall to decrease the gap a bit. Easy enough fix for me. Very sturdy and easy to open. Definitely happy about getting this. My sister's thinking about getting one as well for when her son starts to walk!

We purchased 2 of them after much research on gates and reading reviews. We had a hard time finding a gate for that could be mounted for the top of the stairs that would also adjust different at the top and bottom due to high baseboards. This is working great so far! However, for some reason when we had to use the wall mounts, it was too short without the extension, and too tight with the 6 inch that is included. We had to go through the Regalo site to purchase a 4 inch extension which was another 20 with shipping. However, it fits perfectly now. In another doorway where it is pressure mounted it worked fine.

I bought this baby gate to keep my LO out of my daughter's room since the cat box is in there. I originally had up one of the little wooden gates which worked just fine, but every so often, my daughter would trip climbing over it! It was also a pain for me to lift my legs over it while holding the baby if I needed to go in there. I knew I wanted one that swung open for easy access! I compared a couple on the walmart website and liked the reviews better on this one. It was easy to install and it's easy to use for the whole family. Right now our kitty is young, tall and lanky so she can fit through the bars.. I'm wondering if when she gets bigger and doesn't fit, if she will have an easy time jumping it or not! That is my only concern about the gate! I definitely recommend the gate, and the price is wonderful! As parents, everything is so pricey.. you don't have to spend extra money to get a good gate, this one rocks.

I purchased for a dog gate. It went up in minutes, have used it for 2 weeks now and is still tight. The gate is wide enough for my husband who is 6', 265# to pass thru. Our gate is installed in a standard door opening, resting on the floor. Very satisfied with the quality of the metal construction, the ease of installation, and the way it operates.

I bought this to help out with my two kids and two dogs. Every time i opened the door one of them would think they needed to run out. So I put it in my hallway. It is help up by compression well it isn't strong enough no matter how much I twist the knobs. You barely touch the gate it moves. And I think the lock could have been made a little more child proof. My 4 year old has already figured out how to open it... which defeats my whole purpose.

There is nothing to NOT like. I cannot say enough about this product. Get it. Different heights and widths. Ooooo i love it. Ours are used for our 3 dogs. Sometimes mommy wants a break and keep them rounded up. Each person in the home has a pet/3 have dogs. No noctural wee, trash hopping, couch sitting. Give our guesrs a break :) they see u, u can pet them but it is STURDY. THANKS WALMART!!!

I really like the look of this gate and ease of installation. only thing I am not really happy about it really does take two hands to open it! One to close. My daughter can seem to do it but she has young hands. My grandson, 18 months, climbs on it and pushes on it and it stays put! Very happy about that! I would buy it again! great item and price! and like I said it looks very nice, much better than the wooden scissor gates!!
