I purchased this product online from Walmart.com, and had it shipped free to my local store. It was easy to setup in my house, and is exactly what I expected for the price. It does the job, without being over priced. With a new baby, I have a million other ways to spend money now (diapers and formula). It works very well, and will even be sturdy enough for the top of stairs.

Hi, I got the gate yesterday to keep my two year old out of the kitchen. Pros: The gate is easy to put up, very sturdy, and I don't think he will figure out how to unlock it for awhile. Cons: the opening to walk thru is a little narrow and the bar at the bottom has caused some family member's to trip because they had forgot it was there. Also, I would say it is for ages 0-3yrs old depending on the child. After watching us a couple of times my 4yr old niece has figured out how to unlock it. Also my two year can open it if its not locked completely. So to insure that your little one will not get in or out make sure you hear the "click" to know that its locked. Overall good gate but it has only been 24hrs.

Love this gate! Bought it for the door way of my daughters room and I have not been disappointed! It was very easy to install and operate; the little red latch is confusing at first but you get the hang of it after a while! The opening is also great; my husband is a bigger man and had trouble trying to get through the gates we were going to use on our stairs (he had to turn sides ways to get through them)...no problem walking through this gate at all!! Would totally buy this gate again!

This gate seemed great, however, I had to take it back to Walmart because it doesn't fit the door as it says it will in the description. Says it fits doorways up to 39", our door is 36". When my husband and I put the gate in the door (using the extender) the gate was too tight for the door to swing open. But, when we took the extender off the tension rods were spaced too far from the gate to the wall to be effective. It did seem like a sturdy gate, but your doorway needs to be smaller than 36". It was tall and could probably be opened with one hand if it fit the doorway correctly. We ended up going with another gate that you can adjust the width instead of using tension mounted.

I bought this gate for my new puppy. It works very well, until he found out he was small enough to fit through two of the bars. The gate is a great product, it's just that he's a very tiny puppy. It will work wonders when he gets a bit bigger. The gate was very easy to install with the directions and it's made out of sturdy metal. The gate is a nice feature too. And it works better than gates that cost twice as much.

I purchased 3 of these gates in NJ, to contain my dogs before I moved to VA. This is my 4th one. The local store in VA didn't have them, so I used the site to store feature. Shipping was super fast and didn't cost me anything. I am totally satisfied with the product and service I received from WalMart. The Regalo gate sets up in a few minutes and has the walk-thru feature that makes removing the gate unnecessary. The bars are made of metal, which deters dogs from chewing them. These types of gates sell for much more in specialized baby stores. I highly recommend them for child or pet containment.

We bought this gate because of the metal durability and primarily because of the flexibility when installing onto a wall/railing that is not flush at both sides. The metal bolts allow you to extend a few extra inches. We have this gate on our upstairs and mid stairs level in our townhouse and it works great.

I purchased the gate to keep my cornish rex cats out of my daughters bedroom. We found out she is allergic to her beloved cats so we keep them out of her sleeping area because she cannot depart with them completely. The gate is great except our littlest cat is very small ( a runt) and he can slip through the bars just at the gate opening so my husband rigged the extra extension bar that came with it in the space and he can't get through now. Great item for the money. My daughter is 6 yrs old and has no trouble with the gate and it looks nice we got the white one.

I bought this swing gate for my small 12 pound dog. She was able to jump over this 31" high gate and escape. However, Walmart has the lowest price I've seen for this gate. Pluses are you can adjust the pressure on all for legs in case the door isn't level. If you want a gate for a dog you may need to buy Walmart's Carlson 41" high gate for $65.

This is an extremely helpful and well thought-out product. We were having a lot of trouble with our old baby gate (the pressure mounted ones). We were always falling trying to climb over it, having to take it down and put it up took a long time, and it was causing damage to our wall! We decided to give this one a try and couldnt be happier with it. We love that we only have to open the door and walk right through. The only thing to watch out for is the support bar across the bottom (it HAS to be there to keep the thing together) but we have hit our toes on it a few times when we werent paying attention!
