This product saved the day for us. Our super strong special needs 3 year old would rip the cheap wooden ones out of the doorway. We purchased this one and he can't even budge this one even though we have it only pressure mounted. We love it and wish we had ordered it sooner. It was well worth the price.

I bought this to help out with my two kids and two dogs. Every time i opened the door one of them would think they needed to run out. So I put it in my hallway. It is help up by compression well it isn't strong enough no matter how much I twist the knobs. You barely touch the gate it moves. And I think the lock could have been made a little more child proof. My 4 year old has already figured out how to open it... which defeats my whole purpose.

looks decent, very easy to set up its durable (so far so good) my 2 + 4year old can stand on the door or hang on it and the gate would stay in place. The only thing to consider is that my 4 year old can open the gate, I wish there was an extra lock that even he couldn't open, but in my case it's not too much of a deal, so worth it's money, would buy it again !!

Have had this for a couple of weeks now, and I wish I'd bought it a year ago when my son first started walking. It's very sturdy, and we don't even have it screwed it, just pressure-mounted. My very strong two-year-old has hung from it like a monkey trying to knock it down like he used to with the old gate we had, and so far it's held up beautifully. You may need to re-adjust after heavy usage, but it's a small price to pay to avoid having to drill holes in our door frame. Also, way cheaper than you're going to find ANYWHERE.

After reading a ton of reviews and trying to stay within budget we chose these gates. We absolutely love them. They are so easy to open one handed. Also, I've had many people comment on how they are great looking, not like ugly traditional baby gates. They were very easy to install. We are purchasing a few more for grandma and grandpa's house!

We have a 10 mo. old who crawls everywhere. This gate was easy to install, is durable (metal). The only problem is is the opening - "door" for the adults - it is a bit narrow - only 16 in. - bit too narrow if you need to bring anything downstairs - like laundry etc.

Very easy installation and is quite sturdy. I don't have to worry about my grandchildren knocking this gate over. It is not moving! It also looks great. The last baby gate I purchased years ago was the old wooden kind you had to take down every time you went through it and would come loose if the kids put too much weight on it. This gate is stress free!

I bought this gate to keep my little one from getting into the dog food in the kitchen. I like this gate because it fits where other gates don't because we have thick modleing. It was very easy to install. My little guy like to stand up and shake the gate to let me know he wants to be attached at my hip. I thought it was durable because the gate never moves. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to any mommy!

We purchased the hands-free name brand style gate for $70 first, and we are regretting having not purchased this one. We needed two for our kitchen/family room area, and had I known this gate was available we would have saved the money and simply purchased two of them to begin with. This is a great find, just as sturdy as other tension-mount swing gates out there. They are all a little difficult to put up given the tension has to be even throughout, but it works great and looks just as nice as the others. Definitely purchase this if you're looking for this style gate, worth every penny!

We have purchased 3 of these gates. With a newborn and a 6 year old they have come in very handy. Our 6 year old can use these gates without any help. They are easy to install, easy to use, and durable. We have 2 dogs, and the gates keep them out of the kids' rooms. They are also more affordable than the other options we considered.
