I just got my gate today 9-6-2017 it was so easy to put up and works great I'm so happy I decided to buy this gate it was not very expensive and works grate for my older kids to get through and the keep my baby out of the kitchen I would defentley recommend getting this gate if you are trying to keep little ones out of areas in your house I was sick of having to step over our old gate this is great cause now all we have to do is open it and close it I'm a very happy mama

Good quality, and the price was good. It was also easy to put up. We got the gate because we were tired of lifting our other kids over the other gate all the time, and taking it down for guests. Everyone (even the kids) is able to open and shut the gate easily, making life easier.

Have had this for a couple of weeks now, and I wish I'd bought it a year ago when my son first started walking. It's very sturdy, and we don't even have it screwed it, just pressure-mounted. My very strong two-year-old has hung from it like a monkey trying to knock it down like he used to with the old gate we had, and so far it's held up beautifully. You may need to re-adjust after heavy usage, but it's a small price to pay to avoid having to drill holes in our door frame. Also, way cheaper than you're going to find ANYWHERE.

This gate delivers what it promises. Its construction is completely solid; the gate is tall enough to house any medium-sized dog with ease (our medium-sized dog has anxiety and can jump onto a counter-height kitchen table, but he hasn't tried jumping this, yet); is attractive and clean-looking; locks with a simple pull-mechanism; and the door allows you to leave gate up without getting in the way. The only drawbacks are that the bottom support bar running across the length essentially prevents you from raising the gate above floor level (in case you wanted it a few inches higher, for example), and the lock is simple enough for a toddler to figure out (although the pull-back lever to release the lock takes a firm grip, and you have to pull it back at the same time as you raise the release bar). Also, the way to fasten the gate onto the door is by screwing and unscrewing the 4 edge bolts. Once the gate's on, it's perfect, but getting the exact fit for your door is frustrating. Not hard, but frustrating :)

I purchased this product based on other pet owners and I am thrilled! It sets up easily and is tall enough to keep my 5 month old puppy in the kitchen area as she is not yet housebroken. I can open it and it beats having to step over or re-set other gates that I have tried!

We got this to block off the bedroom and bathroom portion of our hose from our puppy. The walkthrough door allows us not to have to hop over gate everytime we need to go to the back part of the house. As of the installation of this gate (Late April 2009) through today May 2 2009 we have been accident free in a house where the puppy was constantly "doing her business" in the back rooms. Now we can also leave the doors open and welcome the lovely breeze through our house making it all that much nicer! This was exactly what we needed. It was a breeze to put up and I suggest to use the wall cups! It adds support and doesn't let it fall down when knocked over (like my son tried to do a few times)

We bought this swing gate because we have a 9 month old and a 7 year old. We are back and forth through the doorway day and night. Spending the extra money on this gate was WELL WORTH IT. It is SO EASY to use and was simple to install. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I was pleasantly surprised to see how durable this gate is and also how easy it was to install. It fit perfectly in my door jam and it also comes with an extra section to make it longer. This gate was the least expensive one they had and it works great! I would definitely recommend this gate to anyone!

This was purchased to help contain a very active english cocker spaniel. We love the easy to use walk through portion of the gate. The up and down metal slats keep our dog from using his hind legs for leverage as he did with all the other gates we purchased and it's taller than most gates. He has nothing to get a hold of. Set up was quick and easy. This gate can be easily taken with you when visiting family and friends.

I love this gate! I have a gate on nearly every door in my home because my 15 month old loves to explore. I only have one like this and use it on the front door so I can have the door open to watch the older kids (ages 4-8) get on/off the bus, air out the house, etc. The older kids can get in and out of it with ease but the babies can't. It fits so you can leave it up and still close the door so we don't have to keep installing/uninstalling it. The only downside is that it makes the doorway opening smaller to get through so it is difficult to carry all the groceries in at one time.
