I bought this to keep my disabled small dog from trying to go up and down steps and works great. I am not sure how well it works for children since they would most likely shake it, but for our situation, it is great. Especially for the price!

Nice and solid gate. Easy to install. However it might work for dogs but definitely not baby proof. It took less than 24h for toddler to open it. The gate is not self closing and hard to open with only one hand. I will be returning it.

I should've looked at the picture better. I read the title and thought it was one with the actual easy foot step as the title suggests. Overall though not a bad baby gate.

Works well. Was very easy to install. Now if I could only make the older kids shut it behind them! We are using it to keep the pets out of undesireable places. Perfect for 2 very small dogs.

I was tired of moving gates to get through to other room or for my older child to go to the bathroom so this is so much better for us all! No more putting up/ taking down or forgetting! My husband even approves.

overall this gate is the most sturdy ever, it never falls or gets loose like all others do. It was a pain to set up but manageable. The way to open the gate is a hassle at times but not a big deal.

I purchased this baby gate simply because of the price compared to other baby gates on the market. We are very pleased with the quality of this brand.

I bought one that is more user friendly, but this one works fine. The other would swing both ways and had an auto lock as it shut. This requires sliding a device to close.

Ordered this online @ Walmart.com and have it delivered to store. Got it delivered in a couple of days. Assembled it. It fits perfectly. It fulfill my goal 100%. Highly recommended. Very good item for reasonable price.
