Really fresh

Always fresh and crispy green. I use it in salads/wraps, omelettes and smoothies. Very versatile. I've yet to come across any debris or bugs but it's expected, comes from the dirt regardless of how much washing they do.

I bought the best sample I could find at my local Sam's club and served it THAT DAY, but beforehand I had to go through the whole package and take out probably 1/4 of the lettuce leaves because they were rotten and disintegrating. I'm glad I did, though, because nestled right in the middle was a big ladybug! I'm completely grossed out and I be sure to never buy this product again.

Brought this three times. 1st week OK mix of sweet and very bitter green, second week very good mix of sweet and mildly bitter greens, and third week so bitter i had to spit out. And I like some bitterness. Gave someone who had complemented second week's to try and she had to spit it out too. Had to throw out.

I've bought over 20 packages of this since June 1st this year, and in just the last month I've found that before the "sell by" date some of it is going bad, browning, brown liquid runoff, and that I have had to sort thorough the whole pound to remove that going bad. Some even found in the store (in Sartell) was bad on the shelf. Management seems to be uninterested in this problem even after two returns. Check carefully before you buy this now! Prior to this problem I would give it 5 stars across the board.

We love this lettuce!!! We go thru at least 1 a week at my house. The lettuce is always fresh and crisp. The amount of greens that you get for the money is amazing. The taste is AMAZING, not bland at all. This is also ORGANIC, which would cost a lot more at the grocery store. I have been buying this lettuce (or the Baby Spinach) for at least three months and every time the quality is better than that in a store. Every night I make a salad with this lettuce, the seedless cucumbers (also from Sam's) and the grape tomatoes (from Sam's of course). The result is a very healthy and affordable salad Thank you Sam's for high quality affordable produce.

This product would be great if you could eat it all the first day or second. However, it does not stay fresh much longer. As a single person, it is not a good buy. I like to buy organic foods, but can't consume this before it goes bad. Best for large families or parties.

5 STARS..... yeah just TRY to buy this size at other stores in organic!! Geez! Okay besides the other suggestions, i remove the leaves, put a paper towel on the bottom, fill 1/2 way put another then fill the rest and one on top! Paper towels do wonders for all leafy produce!!!

I have been buying this for years to fix salads for lunch. The last 6 months I have seen a decline in the quality. When I buy it on Sunday and can't get enough mix to make a quality salad, that's bad. I used to get a whole week and I still get the mix with the date still good. I have even thrown the mix out by Tuesday.

I bought this a couple of days ago, 4/16 to be exact. I'm so disappointed. I found bugs! There was brown ones and green ones. Dead ones and even live ones. Never had I had this happen to me. It was so infested. Honestly did not know what to do. Was not sure if I needed to call the store or just trash it. Did not think this was normal but it's never happened to me so I literally just thought about throwing it away.
