I'm a cook by trade and I go through a good set of cookware at home every 2-3 years. My husband bought be a super expensive brand 2 years ago with a "lifetime warranty". My 12" saute pan bulged recently and wouldn't sit flat on the burner, so when I saw this Sam's pan for under $25, I just went for it. I figured the worst that could happen is I was out $22. I didn't have high expectations to say the least, but I was pleasantly surprised! This pan is heavy, cooks evenly, washes easily, and is nonstick. I've been using it almost daily for a month and I love it! Even if it doesn't last 6 months, I'd happily buy a new one for under $25 every 6 months than spend hundreds on a brand name that didn't last. The next time I go to Sam's I'll be buying the 8"!

Purchase less than 6 months ago, average at home use. Occasional dishwasher, sometimes hand wash. The entire painted area is almost completely gone. You'll see it on your sponge, dish towels, dish strainer, and on your hands. I don't want paint getting in our food. Sam's 30 day return policy means I'm stuck with junk. I recommend Looking for a different product.

I bought two of these pans today and the package says these pans are made in Brazil. I went to Sams to buy them because this description says they were made in the USA. I still bought them though because it seems like a great pan and Brazil is way better than China.

This Fry Pan seems just like the Tramontina ones that the other one sells but a better price. I purchased a 14 inch from the other one, but it was so heavy and huge (it didn't fit inside the cupboard well.) So came here and purchased the 12 inch...so happy I did, its just the right size for us and the quality is just as expected.

While this product is of commercial quality, I would not recommend it if you have a glass top range. You can't imagine how mad I was the first time I used it on my brand new Amana range only to find out the aluminum bottom scratches the glass. Buyer beware!
