New washer and dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had both washer and dryer for a week. So far both work well. We bought them because we have an LG refrigerator and double wall oven. Also, the controls are simple and that's what we were looking for.
A nice dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is very good. It is quiet. Has many features. Has new technology features. Has energy efficient. My favorite thing I like about the dryer is when it is done has a nice music chime instesd of a loud buzzer noise. Overall the LG dryer has meet my expectations.
Not what I thought.
I find the dryer is hard to understand and requires me to review the manual and I am even watching YouTube videos on how to operate it. I purchased the maintenance coverage and now they say I need to pay more for maintenance coverage. Misleading. I figured with the machine being new and advanced, use would be simple. It isn't.

Might save someone a fire hazard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it a week but seems fine. However , initially it was drying which is why we got rid of our old one. Researched troubleshooting on line which lead us to cleaning out the vent tubing. It was totally blocked and we got tons of junk out. All is well now,but I felt compelled to put out a warning for folks to check their dryer vent hoses a minimum of yearly. This could be a huge fire hazard. We were so lucky and will now add it to our calendar for a yearly check.

We absolutely Love our Great LG Dryer
I bought this dryer on October 31st after our old dryer broke. It was installed in our home in November. We use it every day and just love so much about it. It looks beautiful and matches our LG Washing Machine. It works great and has so many setting options. It is a Smart product so we are always saving on our gas bill. The dryer capacity is huge at 7.3 cubic and can easily take on large bulky comforters and heavy loads. It is very efficient on small and medium loads as well. It is a great peace of mind knowing we bought a brand that is dependable, quiet and works efficiently. LG is a brand we trust!

Confusing sets or dry cycles

While I like the large capacity I do not understand and have not been able to select a dry cycle medium, low, or high that will be an-energy saver cycle on the manual dry. When I select normal on the sensor dry the energy saver does show on but there is no heat and after a good while the heat comes on.. How can that be saving energy?

Horrible dryer
Dryer messed up at 11 months of owning it. Luckily it was still under manufacture warranty, got new motor, 3 fuses replaces, new screen and now the heat blower is messed up. Horrible to be paying for something that's didn't last. Washer has to be set on deep fill in order for tub to fill and clothes to be washed correctly. Never again LG.

great features and easy to use..
I purchased the washing machine earlier this year... at that time I was not in need of a new dryer... however, later this year to purchase the matching dryer only because I wanted to. It looks great next to washer and so far I feel that it is doing a great job!

Save a sheet and find another dryer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first had purchased the dryer, we were excited to have something new. However after a few dry cycles and still currently happening, the clothes are never completely dry and the flow sense light is always blinking when it is not clogged. We paid full price barely a year ago and sadly to say we are very disappointed and beside ourselves for we are stuck with this dryer that doesn't dry.

A flow sense warning indicator light can be caused by poor ventilation exhaust to the dryer. It illuminates to prevent reduced performance caused by exhaust system restrictions. A lemon?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this DLE6100W dryer is advertised to be “Designed for quiet operation, run the dryer without interrupting naptime or your favorite show.,” it is definitely not quiet. The first load of laundry (medium size) that I tried to dry caused the dryer to shake and bang loudly. I recorded a voice memo of the sound and took it to the store where I purchased it, and the only explanation was that it must be “a lemon.”

What type of noise are you experiencing? The noise could be from bad drum supports or from shipping bolts not being removed prior to install, and or the motor, rollers, bearings, blower wheel.
