[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone I spoke with who had bought a washer and dryer recently suggested that I look at LG brand. I had had a whirlpool for 33 years, so I was reluctant to switch brands. however, after a quick read in the accompanying booklet, my dryer was finishing my first load !!! So simple! ease of operation was key to my purchasing this dryer!!!

Normal = medium heat, heavy duty = high heat on the auto-sensor. So if you’re mixing jeans with shirts, use timed dry or heavy duty to insure they’re dry first try. I don’t need all the bells and whistles, I just want the clothes dry in a timely manner and this does the job for a reasonable price.

I love the fact that the energy star efficiency means that I am drying my clothes using way less energy than my old dryer. My clothes come out soft and wrinkle free. I also love the LG ending chime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the dryer. We had some difficulty with it but found out it was not the dryer but our plug and vents. We got the plug fixed and the vents cleaned out, it works wonderful. I love the way it is drying the clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new dryer fairly quickly, as our old one unceremoniously decided to stop working in the middle of the dry cycle. Luckily, our neighbor let us use their dryer that night. So, off to the Internet, seeing what was available and at a reasonable price. I had read that LG products were rated the highest, so that was my target. This model was on sale at a local store, with a promised delivery of 2 days. I found that it was easy to operate, with little reading of a manual. This last point is a pet peeve of mine, in that I detest new products that are not intuitive to operate.

The dryer works great- I have had no problems with it. I love that I can choose it I want to use the auto dry or I can set my own timer if I prefer. Additionally, it makes the cutest little chiming song when the load is done. My clothes have come out less wrinkled and very dry every time. Very happy I decided to take a chance on this one. . . .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After purchase and install we realize the manual in English or Spanish is hard to understand, we call NO CUSTUMER SERVICE, ONLY IA...by text? only videos on You Tube let use the dryer more or less... Not very happy.

Worst experience ever!! I bought it August 24th and still haven’t been able to use it!! First the door latch faulty. Waited two weeks for that to be fixed only to find out it doesn’t heat up?!! I waited two weeks for someone to come out and tell me it needs a part to fix the heat , that is still on order? No repair scheduled yet. No dryer!!

We had flow problems initially. After the vent cleaning was done and the air flowed strongly, the machine still acted as if there were flow problems and would shut down after only a few minutes. We had to restart the drier several times before our clothes were dry.
