[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free for testing purposes and immediately noticed the mattress was not as wide as my previous queen! It was stunning to look at but quickly was covered with a mattress protector and sheets, these will have to be purchased new as well as traditional mattress protectors and sheets will NOT fit! I anticipated this potentially happening by be prepared! The comfort level is spot on except my boyfriend is laying on top of me with no room to spare where before with my old queen (a beauty sleep knock off) I had plenty of room!

I am beyond pleased with my new beauty rest. I have layed on Hastens and Hypnos mattresses and this is nothing short of the same quality and comfortability. It is the most comfortable bed I have ever layed on and don’t doubt I will have it for the next 15 years.

Purchased the Beauty rest black and foundation.We were given a delivery window of 7:30 am-11:30 am. I set my alarm..At 6:10 am we get a call the delivery is on it's way. ( I didn't even wake up) Soon after the delivery arrived (way before the window.)and what to my sleepy eyes see? Just the box springs! So you arrived at my hoiuse at 6am something with no Mattress???? I had to fight through numbers that weren't answered, live chat that wont work, oh and the Beautyrest help office doesn't open till 10am, imagine that. Now I am again waiting for the mattress, which wont arrive for a few more days.I guess we'll sleep on the box springs tonight. Worst worst worst delivery experience ever. Beauty rest should be ashamed. Terrible, Terrible Terrible!

I have slept on a Beautyrest for the last 10 years and loved it. I just got the Beautyrest Black series 2 to replace that one and I am so excited to sleep on it. The mattress itself is very luxurious and high quality. I have not slept on it yet, but laying on it in the store and when they delivered it, I know this mattress is perfect. It is firm and yet soft and I am looking forward to testing the cooling technology in this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since the 1st day it arrived we have been sleeping on this mattress instead of our "Cali King". My husband says when he lays on it he body is like conforming to the mattress and doesn't need to constant move around to find his space of comfort. We have a very thin sheet over the mattress and we don't wake up with sweaty backs on our days off when the temps reach 85 easily by 8 am. I would highly suggest this piece for those that want to enjoy a goodnights sleep.

First impressions were great - the quality of the mattress is apparent right off the bat. There are handles to help move the mattress (which is incredibly heavy and bulky) which is nice and speaks to the quality as most mattresses don't have handles. The mattress is firm but not rock hard. The pillowtop is soft and makes laying on it an amazing experience. The pillowtop doesn't make the mattress super soft and squishy because it's a firm mattress - it simply adds comfort. You will need deep pocket sheets - it is a very thick mattress and regular sheets fit but they don't cover the entire mattress which isn't aesthetically pleasing. Overall, this is an amazing mattress and I can tell it'll be a great mattress for years to come. Highly, highly recommend!

This mattress is very comfortable it conforms to your body and takes the stress off of the pressure points to provide a relaxing and restful sleep. Also the temperature regulation keeps you at a comfortable temperature and the motion regulation is wonderful if you share your bed with a partner. I have not felt my spouse moving around in the bed as he flips from his back to his stomach through the night therefore providing me with much more restful nights sleep. This product is definitely made very well and I definitely would recommend it. I chose the firm pillow top and I absolutely love it. I will start off by saying this is a very high quality mattress, I can tell just by the materials, there are 13 layers including the coil system. The upper layers include the pillow top and the cooling layers are just below. It has a very soft, silky feeling pillow top (you'll sleep on a sheet so it doesn't matter too much. The mattress description claims: a lush, firm summit pillow top feel, this mattress features Triple-Stranded Pocketed Coil® Technology, exclusive temperature management, premium foam upgrades for enhanced cooling and immediate pressure relief, and 4K Nano Coils for our most premium individualized support and motion separation. So I tested each of these. (1) Motion isolation: as shown in the video, this mattress has great motion isolation. It's not 100%, it's also a queen bed not a king bed so you can't expect full motion isolation. However with the glass test, the glass didn't fall and barely moved when I was jumping on one side of the bed. (2) Temperature regulation: this mattress does have a cooling effect, it doesn't last the entire night but it's comparable to other cooling mattresses. (3) Edge support: with pillow top mattresses edge support is a hit or miss, this mattress has really good edge support (maybe because it's firm). For me, this is the most important because I like to sleep right at the edge and I didn't feel like I was slipping at all at night. Overall comfort: this mattress is comfortable IF you like sleeping on your back. People like my husband, who only sleep on their sides might find this painful on the arm that is being slept on. Overall review: this mattress isn't for exclusive side or stomach sleepers, it gets quite painful, however if you're a back sleeper or only roll onto side or stomach for short periods of time, this is a great mattress option. It will keep you cool at night and supported on the side. From the quality and heaviness of the mattress, I would say it will last you a lifetime. Mattresses are quite personal so it's best to try it out at a store and see if it works for you.

I was apprehensive when it was delivered and I first laid on it because I was used to a 4” memory foam topper on my hybrid mattress. It felt very firm to me. First night I slightly elevated my head and knees with adjustable base and slept very well. No hip aches or shoulder pain. Very happy so far with this BeautyRest Black Series One!
