I've had the new unit for 3 weeks. From day 1, it's had a very loud ticking noise on spin cycle. Had Service Tech out twice now and they can't find anything with it. The Tech left today and didn't hear anything. Right after he left - horrible, loud ticking again through several loads. I made a video of the noise and submitted it. We'll see what happens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this for a few months and it far outshines our last washer! This is our first front loading, which I was a little leary of getting. But I love how much easier it is to unload. It has a friendly jingle when it's done. If you connect it to the wifi it will tell you when the cycle is done and even when to run a self-clean cycle.

Very quiet and really does a great job. I’m very impressed with the patient customer service person who walked us through all the technical stuff. We bought the dryer and connector device as well. Always have good luck with Samsung and LG products.

I had to replace my 10 year-old Samsung washer and dryer set. I absolutely despise the new model! The dryer takes 2-3x longer to dry my clothes. The operational user interface is so idiotically inefficient and over-engineered it's absurd. You have to scroll through so much unnecessary crap just to get the dryer programmed properly, it's abdolutely absurd! Same goes for the washer. The programming / setup interface is so inefficient, over-thought, and over-engineered it drives me nuts to have to scroll through so many settings I'll never use. Instead of having a simple delayed start by 1, 2, 3,4 hours, you now have to figure out when you want the wash to be completed but you have to do the math on how long the cycle is. You can't just do a simple 1 hour delay without having to do addition of subtraction using the length of the wash cycle. What freaking genius thought that was a good idea?

In today's world, your home appliances should look as amazing as they work, and that is what Samsung has done. Without a doubt, this washer is sleekest out right now. The smart dial is super intuitive. The capacity is huge. The smart features are amazing! Being able to remote start a load of luandry during off peak hours during the summers is a god send. The steam cleaning has saved us from dry cleaning every week as well. With the 20 year warranty, we have the peace of mind that we don't have to worry about any major repairs either.

Really didn’t need instructions but of course you always read up on an appliance before using. So far so good for cleanliness, drying in short time and a very sleek look too.

I do find that I have to run it on a timed setting rather than the built in ones since it doesn’t always detect if my clothes are accurately dried. However, if it set it to timed dry, it always works perfectly. I would definitely get this again. It’s main benefits are that it’s huge, quiet, and beautiful.

It remembers the settings from the last load when I'm ready for the next. I like that it notifies my phone when the cycle is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking on pedestals. Machine balances and rebalances laundry for balance, then maximum spin so clothes come out damp but not soaking wet. Options for remote a little complex, but can be useful. Good purchase.
