So far I love this.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I love that it can be plugged in to an A/C outlet, use D size batteries, or use the internal rechargeable battery. The lights are a bit annoying but you can turn them off with the button on the left side. The sound is a bit flat, but still sounds okay when playing MP3s through bluetooth from my phone. I love the semi-transparent case. It's a cool radio but I probably wouldn't buy it again. This retro radio is very feature rich.

Bought it to be able to record from radio and auxiliary input to the cassette since I own an antique car that has cassette in it still. Bought brand new Maxwell cassettes and the recording to tape is horrible. I've tried with 3 different tapes and the sound is still very awful.

2nd UPDATE: after ION customer service left a reply to my review, I decided to try the service on the website. ION website does not have the Retro Glo listed on the list of supported devices. Therefore I was unable to access customer service. UPDATE: Downgraded to 1⭐️. I exchanged the radio and the new one is defective just like the first one. I no longer recommend this product due to the lack of functioning advertised features. Going back for a refund instead of exchange this time. What a disappointment. Not the loudest Bluetooth speaker I’ve owned in this price range. It is plenty loud to listen to but not for a noisy party. Mine is defective out of the box and I got to return it to Sam’s. The VU meters don’t function nor does the LED scale in between the left VU and the AM/FM tuner.
