People are complaining about the bell pepper and spinach but it clearly states it in the ingredients list. If you like the Starbucks ones, these are a great alternative option and a much cheaper version. In my area 2 egg bites at Starbucks are $4.95. I got the Sam’s version on sale and they average $2.25 for 2 egg bites (1 pack).

The best store egg bites

I had seen these in the store for quite some time but didn't buy because I usually don't like things made with only egg whites and no yolk. I mean c'mon - I'm not on a diet, give me the whole egg. I finally decided to give them a try when we were at the store last night. Okay I know when to admit I'm wrong, and I was very wrong to wait so long to try these egg bites. They're the best I've ever had. Could they be better? Yes they could, if they were available with the yolk included, then that would be even better. It's still 5 stars good though, way better than the ones I sometimes get at the expensive coffee shop that we all know. For what it's worth, and for people who like a little more bold flavor - I sprinkle red pepper flakes and a little extra virgin olive oil on them. I wouldn't be disappointed to receive something like that for breakfast in an expensive restaurant. It's that good. Just please offer a whole-egg version.
