He just couldnt and told me he didnt want me to waste my money on repairs that he couldnt make work. I just purchased this new Samsung and the ice maker is great. And I love going back to a side by side and not having to dig through the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the ice tray feature which makes little tiny cubes like bite-size ones, and then regular cubed ice on the other side which also comes with a scooper. And instead of having the water come out on the outside of the fridge. It's inside of the refrigerator door where you can fill up a water pitcher which also has a fruit infuser, as an awesome option!

Shelving is adequate and overall the refrigerator is very well made. Only two negatives: 1 the push button for the water dispenser inside the door is very difficult to press (a challenge for my 8 year old daughter). The controls are simple and easy to use. However, I don't see the added benefit of wireless home connectivity to try to remotely control the refrigerator. I rather have a good reliable dumb refrigerator then a smart one that is using more power for lessor functionality.
