We enjoyed this cake at work. We should had let it set out a few minutes from the fridge before cutting it inorder for it to be easier to slice. The icing ad cake part was delicious. Some one in the reviews mentioned that the cake was dry but ours was fresh and dense. I did make sure I got the cake with better expiration date before purchasing.

I bought this giant cupcake for my daughter's 15th birthday party. It was a huge hit! The guests loved it, especially the surprise in the middle filled with colorful sprinkles and M&M's. I was surprised that it served so many people. If you are looking for a unique cake for a special occasion, this is it!

Sams normal cakes are better than this one. This one is dry, top heavy, not big enough for 20 people, and wayyy too much sprinkles in the middle. Hard to cut. Buttercream isn't made with butter and taste artificial. Also the edges of the cake taste like oil from when they oiled the pan before they baked the cake. The edges were also very dark, you could tell it was overcooked. I would never buy this again. Wish I could get my money back.

If you haven’t tried this nee product you are missing out! Fun, tasty, colorful, cake for ANYTHING from bdays, showers, holidays or just for an after dinner dessert to spruce up the night! Everything from the icing, to the delectable texture of this flavorsome product, to the presentation while the colorful candy pours out from your first cut into this masterpiece! My nephew lit up like a Christmas tree! It certainly trumped just blowing out candles! Much more fun:) Look forward to making this a new go to for gatherings across the board and can’t beat it for the generous price!

We bought this cake for a child's birthday party. It was a huge hit!! The sprinkles and M&M's inside were a huge surprise for them!! Some reviews have said the cake was dry, but ours was moist and delicious. The icing was like a creamy vanilla fondant. Very good!

I saw this and thought it was fun. I wouldn't have normally bought but my husband noticed how I looked at it and decided to get it. I tried to take a video expecting the reveal to be exciting. It was not easy to cut. The cake is wrapped in a cardboard ring that holds it together. So you have to cut through that or remove it first. The outside of the cake is unfrosted and not as appealing. The piece didn't come out well for me and the reveal was less exciting. The cake's center is missing so slightly less than a regular slice. Inside just rest some sprinkles and regular and mini M&Ms. There seemed to be two types of frosting on the top, the white at the very top and then a more yellow-colored one that was below/on top of the cake part. The taste of the frosting was good and very sweet. The cake itself was bland and somewhat dry. It was a cup concept but I wouldn't buy it again. Side note: The cake also stated that it contained 36 servings. If you were to cut the cake into 36 pieces, they would be very slim pieces.

Really cute cake idea, I was excited to see the waterfall of candy in the middle. The cake is SUPER dry and tastes like it has been in the cooler for too long. The candies are stale and I found myself wishing for more of the overly sweet icing. The sides of the cake are not iced, just covered in paper, which makes sense when thinking about the dryness. Probably will not buy again.

This cake the the driest cake I have ever eaten (attempted to eat) in my life. It's big, and looks the part, but it does not taste good at all. It's dry and the icing and cake both tasted sub par. This will make me NEVER buy a Carlo's cake online, ever! I will buy PUBLIX cakes only from now on, this was yuck..

Man I had such high hopes for this cake. Usually cakes from Carlo's Bakery are moist and delicious. Not the case here with this one.This cake is dryer then the Arizona desert in August. What a total disappointment. The cake is a typical ring style cake then filled will a zillion sprinkles and a handful of M&Ms. The center fill ratio is nearly all sprinkies. Way too many sprinkles. The buttercream is a typical vanilla the Carlo's uses for other cakes they make. The ratios are off and again this is a very DRY cake. What a disappointment. it's cute and nice to look at and yes it would be fun for kids to cut into, however, for adults, it's just dry and overrated.

We drove an hour to sams and bought this cake to celebrate my birthday and because im a huge fan of Carlos! Ive always wanted to try his items. I typically purchase sams cupcakes, to me, they are the best! Purchasing this cake was a huge mistake. The icing was so gross! After one bite, my family wouldnt touch it! It tasted like powdered coffee creamer (i know some icings are made like that). Highly dissapointed. Wasted trip, wasted money. Should have stuck with the cupcakes!
