Cake was pretty good. Grandkids were excited to see the candy fall out. There were instructions on the cake, which I didn't notice. I think you were supposed to leave it at room temperature for a while? I can't remember, but it was kind of messy when we cut it. Kids didn't care. Again, they were excited about the candy inside!

Fun Cake, but dry as an empty well. That was disappointing an embarrassing. I bought it for my sister's birthday. The icing in the middle was good and there was a lot of candy that fell out when you cut it, but terribly dry. If I could have I would have got my money back.

The only problem I see is that the cupcake wrapper goes up under the icing and sprinkles and is extremely hard to get off and you really can't cut through it. In my opinion that needs to be adjusted. I had read that the cake was really dry but that wasn't the case with ours. I got it the day before I needed it and let it sit out overnight and it was delicious and a huge hit with the kids. Highly recommend

This cake is so much fun! It is fun seeing people’s reactions when I cut the cake open and candy comes out. It’s like a piñata in a cake! It’s also fun when people think it’s a giant cupcake! It is so beautiful!

Cake was a little dry and I guess you're suppose to let it sit at room temperature for a little bit, otherwise the candy inside is too hard from being refrigerated.

This was so fun for my daughters birthday. She knew right away it was a giant cupcake. The filling that fell out was so much fun. I'm glad we made this purchase. It was something fun and different to do.

The cake was so fun for my daughter’s birthday. The middle of the cake “exploded” out just as the picture shows. Kids lost their mind over that. Only thing that would make it better in my kids opinion is if it came in chocolate instead of vanilla!

For a young birthday girl who only eats vanilla cake, likes sprinkles and M&M's, and loves a show this hit the mark. Plus a surprise. I don't even know how we discovered it but am glad we did.

Absolutely disgusting! This is the height of processed garbage. It was stale, the icing was awful and when you cut it the center goes everywhere. I had a tiny piece of just the cake because the icing was not edible, and I was sick for 2 hours. So if you are looking to go into full insulin resistance diabetic shock get you a couple bites of this. You don’t even need the full 5 pounds to end up in the hospital with an insulin IV in each arm. This cake would be illegal in most countries, but our wonderful FDA being in bed with the pharmaceutical companies will be glad to endorse this one..
