Picked up my Generator a couple days ago. Real heavy-needed help from neighbor to unload. Assembly for wheels and front feet was super easy. Filled the engine with oil and put a little gas in the tank then hit the button and it fired right up. Friends that have seen it are extremely impressed. Test it on a few small items like power tools and shop equip. The big test will come later this year if we get a hurricane. I hope to power my entire house, but lets hope no hurricanes.

We bought this generator because of several loss of power events during the last few years. I completed the installation yesterday and so far it works great. We really like the electric start and it fits perfectly into a location just out the back of the house.

After researching portable generators for quite some time and suffering through frequent power outages (a 6 day one last fall) we finally bought the WGen9500. It's a beast and everything the other reviews say it is. It will soon be wired into a manual transfer switch. Neighbors already came to see it and realized that doing this in the fashion we are, is a lot more cost effective than the large automatic ones that can cost 5K. I'll be building a sound reducing enclosure for it before the winter. Glad we finally have it!

I purchased a WGEN9500 online on 9/15/20. I was so impressed reading about the functions of the generator that I ordered a second one on 9/17/20. They were easy to assemble and push button start is just what we need as my wife and I are in our 70s and live in hurricane territory. Not looking forward to another hurricane, but it sure will be easier with the WGEN9500.

I bought this a month ago and it is already leaking oil badly... I try to buy the same brand generators for my company, but after this experience, I may be looking for a new brand.... the only thing that may save Westinghouse's reputation with me is how they handle the warranty on this thing. fingers crossed they help me out.

When I purchased my house in 2018, I noticed the previous owner had 2 small portable generators in the garage. I figured they know something I don't. I had the house wired for a direct connection for a power generator. 2022 saw hurricane Nicole made landfall, and we lost all power. Me and maybe 5 other houses in our neighborhood suffered no ill effects. Full house power, 3 ton air conditioner, all lights, TV, workstations and even running the microwave. We just did not not use the range / oven. Living the good life while everyone else were back in the stone age.

Having a smaller generator and wanting a larger one I found all the features I was looking for in this product. All the Utube videos were positive and showed very good capabilities of this unit. Haven't used it yet but am certain it will not disappoint me.

Just arrived today, easy delivery and set up. While I have not yet run full power, everything is as advertised. One little thing to watch for, the oil that is included, just brings the oil to the low mark on the stick, and with a any new engine, it may use a little at first, so be careful not to run it low. Have an extra quart on hand.

I purchased the generator a few days ago. I have not had need to use it yet. But I started it on Friday to assure that it would start and run. Started immediately. Unpacking instructions should be outside the box. How do these instructions help when you have already opened the box to find them. The box was in nearly destroyed condition when I received it. Should be shipped on a skid because it is too heavy for a cardboard box that is manhandled.

Read many reviews and decided to go with the Westinghouse WGen9500. Will use to power a detached garage as well as back-up for a cabin. Found the instructions to be very well written and easy to follow. Started right up and first test went without a problem. Great buy.
