I bought this January/24. As a backup power source Only used it a few times for about 3 hrs each time, after break in process, I couldn't be happier with performance so far. I also own the igen4500 inverter generator, that I use with my Travel trailer, for several years so there was no hesitation to buy a westinghouse for my home backup..

wish I had it for Hurricane Milton. I purchased based upon the reviews and Westinghouse reputation. when my electrician came to install the 50amp interlock, he said I couldn't have made a better choice. Unit started right up, took it through the break in cycle. I'm ready for the next power outage. very pleased, I especially like the covered outlets

I just recieved our new WGEN9500DFc. I did everything according to the instructs for set up. I put gas in and tried to crank it. Motor turned over but would not crank. I connected propane and it cranked right up. I had my 30yr handy man with me. We checked all procedures. Unit seemed fine on propane. NOTHING on gas. I called the customer service number. They said it could take a while for a tech response. Like how long? 21 DAYS , WHAT ???!!!! I think I like the unit, but I got dual fuel because that's what I wanted. I expect it to work and not have to wait 21 DAYS!!! I hope they call me soon. I will rate it at another time.

I bought this several months ago after losing power to my home on Christmas eve. Fortunately, at the time, I had two strong teenage boys to carry water out of the basement 5 gallons at a time so our basement did not flood due to the sump pump being out of commission. This feller can help us turn what could be a miserable, long night into an easy 5 minute, "GOT YOUR BACK!" Runs nearly my entire house.

What a great product arrived flawless added fuel and oil hit the switch and was running in 3 seconds .Total assembley wheels and feet was 5 minutes ,Pluged into my transfer switch with the 50 amp power outlet and the machine was more than capable to run the whole house even the central air ! Lots of great features the remote start is way cool along with the data center the fuel gauge is a little hard to understand .

After the recent power outage I decided to step up to the plate and buy a new generator to meet my house needs. This Westinghouse 9500 generator fit that need. Quality is awesome, it’s loaded with features missing from other generators.plus it’s warranty is amazing, three years.

I brought this due to recent power outages. It has enough power to run my entire home which is what I wanted from a generator. It is loud (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) similar to a lawn mower but I think that is the trade off to get the required power to run a home. Overall very happy it has a lot of options for powering things and the electric start is a great feature.

Bought this last week and just had a natural gas line put in for it. Thing starts up easy and runs like a charm! No more worries about gasoline or propane, clogged fuel lines or refilling the tank. All this for a fraction of the cost of a house unit and I can pretty much run all the essentials.

Purchased this 9500KW Generator after our Western NC disaster. My old generator failed within the first 24Hrs after losing power. After regaining power, saw this Westinghouse Unit on sale at a great price. Received the new unit, unpacked and began final setup. Installation instructions are well written, so setup was simple. Added fuel, gasoline, using the remote key FOB, the unit started within 3 seconds. Unit handled the load I applied with no problem. Load included a 208VAC well pump, 208VAC Hot water Heater, Oil Furnace, Freezer, two refrigerators, Microwave oven, TV and multiple lights. This unit also supports using propane and natural gas as a fuel source. This unit appears to be well built, so I expect to get many years of service from this Westinghouse Unit. I am very pleased with this generator and would recommend it as a backup power unit

I installed this as a whole house backup using a transfer switch. I wanted a Tri-Fuel generator so I could hook it up to the natural gas line when using it as a backup generator, but also use gas or propane if I needed to use it remotely. It is big enough to back up all the important circuits in my house (except for the Air Conditioning Compressor) and still small enought to load into my pickup (by wheeling it up a loading ramp) to take with me when needed. The simple fuel selection dial provides three different fuel options out of the box in case a lengthy power outage makes fuel hard to find.
