Just received the unit, longevity is yet to be judged. However, several reviews online are good so I'm hopeful. Overall feel like a good unit, easy to start/operate. However, QC may be a bit lacking, mainly on the cosmetic side for now. I bought the unit new, but some spots were not completely painted over.

When it came in we open the box and pulled the generator out. After checking the generator over we add the oil, and did a precheck . We put some fuel in the tank and it started right up the frist time. We ran it with some power tools with no problem, and would work good for the house also.

This generator arrived shortly after a storm hit which had taken down our street power for more than 24 hours. We set it up and started using it immediately upon its arrival at our home. Though we were newbies with a generator of any kind, setup was straightforward and didn't take too much time. We were able to connect a full-size refrigerator, an upright freezer that was mostly full of meat (including the aforementioned BACON) and a fan to keep our basement cool. The generator supported these items with no issues whatsoever and would have been able to support additional devices, but we plugged in the most important devices only. We like the gas gauge so we can see how much fuel remains in the tank as we use it. We also like that it is a tri-fuel unit, so it can connected to natural gas, propane and/or be powered by gasoline.

I am in love at first sight. 3 fuels. It is not quiet and it is a workhorse. I wish the display would show you current loads for the device or if there was a add on to have a more interactive display, I would buy it. The starter worked great. The remote starter is just what the doctor ordered during a Nor Easter.

We have lots of problems with random power outages and this generator keeps us from having to empty the refrigerator every time! Hooks right up to the gas line, easy to hook up. The remote start is great! It’s heavy but the wheels and handle make it easy to transport. I hope we never have a bad hurricane but if there is this product will definitely keep us from being in a bad situation!

I did much research before I made this purchase, and I am glad I did. I bought this generator to power my whole house, which it easily does. I had an electrician come in and wire everything and he even commented on the great product this generator is. Once he was done with his work, we tested the generator. I was very happy with the outcome. It was what I had expected and more. The features are great as well. The 30 and 50 amp plugs are perfect. The USB ports are a bonus. the push button start with a remote also means I can get this generator warmed up and ready before I have to go out on a cold winter day. It even comes with a battery trickle charger. Westinghouse thought of everything. If you are searching for a generator, here it is. I bought this generator last year and have had the occasion to use this multiple times since. The ease and convenience of startup and operation was very surprising and the remote start fob is a big bonus. Fold up/down handle makes it quite easy to maneuver to your desired location and tuck away to minimize the space needed.

My wife and I contemplated buying a generator for many years to run the well water pump during power outages. We got tired of waiting for the electric to come back on so we could move on. I am pleased to have bought a Westinghouse as the brand name is historically strong and this product represents that strength. A friend was looking at the same generator and bought it based on my purchase and review with him. Can't wait for the electrician to install the transfer switch. The peace of mind this generator brings to our house was worth the investment. Plus the arm bar makes it easy to move it around.

I appreciate how quick the product arrived to my home. Installing the tires and foots was easy. An adding the motor oil was quite simple. I haven't added gas yet to start it but overall I'm so far impressed with the product. Youtube videos helped me to understand the product features. We purchased this generator a couple of months ago. We had a transfer switch installed so we won’t need to run extension cords. Best purchase we’ve made in a long time. Living in FL we felt it best to purchase a generator and not need it as opposed to needing one and not having it. We are now ready in case of any power emergency.
