Sold a 20 year old 4500 watt… The WGEN9500 seems as quiet, with a bigger tank and the same ease of starting. Test was a 1/2 hp compressor for 60 mins. The old gen would gun up when the compressor kicked on - the 9500 does not even notice. If you have an older generator.. now is the time to upgrade. I am not much of a prepper.. but let’s face it, if you can cover a day or two outage with a generator you will save your fridge, your hotel costs and - like this February maybe keep your pipes from freezing. That is why i doubled my old capability. These outages are getting a lot worse….

Just delivered yesterday and I unboxed it today. I have been looking to upgrade to a bigger generator as my needs have changed in my new home. We moved from the hustle and bustle of central Florida to a home in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where power outages can be common certain times of the year and when it goes out the average restoration time is 6to 8 hours average. Our other generator wattage was only 5500 peak watts which was adequate for central Florida home with city water and gas appliances. But our new home is all electric with a well pump which the load is higher. I don’t expect it to run the complete home but it will be more than enough to run the necessities to make out power outages a little more easier. With 3 refrigerators , 2 freezers , lights fans and a well pump I was at my limit with 5500 watts. I haven’t used the new Westinghouse Generator yet but I know it is only a matter of time. The day we purchased this we had two outages with in one week totaling 14 hours.

I love that I have the options to use three different types of fuel. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I had thought I would have to buy oil and hoses but those come included as well. The wheels and handle come in very handle to make this portable. Overall this was a great purchase!

We bought this for our camper as well as our home because we live in GA and hurricanes aren’t our strangers and we are completely satisfied. My husband loves the remote start. He has a bad back so having a generator that we had to pull start before was rough on him. I’m so glad we decided on this one.

We bought this generator over a month ago and I'm so happy I did! I love the features on it such as the push button start fob and everything it came with initially like the battery charger, oil funnel, and oil. The push button fob will come in handy when it's storming. For the price, it can't be beat for this size and features. We haven't had a chance to use it yet but it looks well made and we know it will greatly be appreciated when needed. I have friends who have the same model and they love it! Very happy with this purchase and I know I will have all the support I would ever need with the customer service representatives from this company.

I bought this Generator to help protect my house and keep it running after Hurricane and/or power outages. It is the 9500 and I can run most everything in my house during an outage. It can be started remotely, electronically or by pulling the cord. I have everything set up and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. To my surprise it came with tools and oil to get me started. Not many do this any longer.

I am very happy with this product. When I tried to program the fob after receiving it, I was unable to do. I then called and the lady was able to walk me through step for step to solve my problem. She was very helpful in answering any and all questions I had. I feel that this is a very good unit for the price.

I have set up gas lines for several of these generators and all of my customers have been very happy with the quality and performance of these generators. I just purchased one myself after the current storm and I am looking forward to using when we don’t have power like we just did for 6 days.

I purchased a 9500 watt generator as an emergency backup and waiting to install a transfer switch for safer use. However already fired it up and it’s extremely easy to operate and works flawlessly. They even sent first quart of oil. Unit is noticeably quieter than other ones I’ve used in the past. Game changer!!!

I purchased this should we have power go out and need some power for the house. Seems to be well built and starts easily. There are a lot of features with 9500 running watts in my unit. Everything has tested out fine and the item was shipped superbly. I purchased this brand because of the many positive reviews and solid name that Westinghouse has. I hope to get many many years of use out of this thing!
