I purchased this to replace a good-running portable generator that we've been using for emergency whole-home backup during a power outage. The old one had low hours, but we needed a more powerful generator to work with our well. Being tri-fuel, this generator makes it very convenient for us now that we can hook right up to our natural gas supply line at the house -- no more running to the gas station during a power outage. The build quality seems to be excellent.

After my other generator died after hurricane Milton , it was time to replace it with another. This model had the power and flexibility of fuel we desired. As of yet, it has not been fully tested, but it should power all our needs until we get restored

I upgraded to this 9500 watt generator because I wanted to power everything when the power went out. The booklet and instructions were very good, I appreciate the quick start guide, it is very good at guiding you through everything you need to know to get started without reading the entire manual. I like that it's tri-fuel, I didn't want to put gasoline in it just to set it up and try it out, so I used the propane tank from my grill to make sure that everything worked properly. After reading the manual I discovered there is a screw that will allow you to drain the carburetor, the thing I was concerned about why I didn't want to use gasoline to try it out. Storing power equipment for long periods of time with gasoline in the carburetor causes problems, so this is an amazing feature. This also has an electric and recoil (pull) start. all you have to do is push the start button and the generator starts right up. I was surprised that it started right away since it takes a little bit for the propane (in this case) to get through the hose. Press the button again to make it shut off, (so easy.) Another feature I have come to appreciate is the remote start fob. I can start the generator while inside my house. I tried it multiple times and it works perfect. Overall, it's everything I was hoping it would be, it exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy with it! I just wish I had natural gas where I live, I would never have to stock up on fuel, a great feature if I ever get natural gas where I live. Westinghouse makes a great product!

Purchased this item so when the power goes out we are able to supply enough power to supply our house to live comfortably while its out. Enough power to use our AC units and Fridge as well as lights. Would highly recommend this brand as I have done much research in the affordable generator brands and this one sticks out head and shoulders above the rest.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. The generator itself is easily movable and maintainable. It is a great product. It’s helping during a situation like the one we knew three weeks ago with hurricane beryl. It can run my entire house appliances and AC without issue it’s great !

I recently bought this generator and ran it through the hurricane and was able to power my entire home on propane and gas, I wasn't able to utilize the natural gas as I'll explain in a second. The setup, instructions, and quality of the build have been excellent, and I appreciate the outlet covers which is a feature many don't have. I have only had two problems so far, the first is the supply hose for the natural gas, and the second is the lack of clarity around BTU requirements at peak power. The natural gas supply hose says it is 1/2' in all the advertisements and says it fits 1/2' connections. However, the supply hose is only 1/2' on the male fitting, which has a quick connect already attached. However, the the female side is 3/8', which is the side you'll connect to your home ng supply. This 3/8" fitting creates a reduction point at the supply, and limits the available gas and the overall flow rate. Additionally, the customer support was not able to clarify the BTU's being utilized at peak power, which limits a customer's ability to plan for meter sizing. I currently has a support request with Westinghouse to acquire a new supply hose that has the correct 1/2" fittings on both ends.

I just purchased this generator for my travel trailer. After much research I chose this unit due to features and reviews. The generator arrived on time in undamaged condition. Setup is easy and the generator started right up. I expect years of good service from this unit.

Awesome generator from the start. I used propane to break it in and it started right up with no hiccups or problems. I think is a great addition for the next storm and it will perform well as far as I can see. Too early to review long-term durability but looks like a quality product.

This is the best generator ive ever had. it will run on propane,gasoline and natural gas. Ive been using natural gas and the generator will prime itself and start. ive been able to run almost all my circuits except central A/C and thats not a biggie problem. i bought this for winter time in Texas and we have blackouts in icy weather.

I bot the WGen10500 and it ran perfect for a 30 hour break in, Unfortunately, it was stolen before I wrote down the serial #. So, I bot another but ordered the WGen9500. It's running now on natural gas for a break in period adding little loads gradually. Great running machine! The automatic choke is amazing. Thank You, Henry Boenning
