We purchased this a couple of months back preparing for winter. It was easy to set up and had the first start up in 10 minutes. It was delivered fully assembled except for the wheels. We experienced a 6 hour power outage after purchase and powered everything we needed including 2 refrigerators, freezer, wifi, lights, etc. with no issues.

Bought this when we moved into our new house in a remote location because I was concerned about losing power from storms. My hope was to just run the essentials since we already had a while home switchover but man surprised. We were able to run the ac, 2 fridges, a stand up freezer, two sumps, the well pump, septic pump, range, and numerous lights all at once. Couldn't be happier. Set up was easy, did it at 12am with no power since I had been too lazy to setup the generator in advance.

I bought this unit to provide household power in the event of an extended power outage which has occurred three times in the past 20 years due to hurricanes. I also have a Honda 3.8K generator which I have for 16 years and it has never missed a lick but it is not powerful enough to provide power to my hot water heater or oven. This Westinghouse Generator will provide me with sufficient power

Very happy with this purchase. It was easy to put together and it started up quickly the first time! Very happy with the remote start - no pulling to start. Although it is heavy the handle and wheesl it allows you to move the generator in its frame works great. We are ready for anything now!!!

I bought the 9500w generator and I’m not disappointed. Very easy to install the wheels and the handle is preinstalled. Added the oil which is included and after filling with gas, and connecting the battery, it fired right up with the push button ignition. Pairing of the key mod was explained in the directions and was fairly easy. Feels awesome knowing we’ll be with power and not have to go stand in line for ice with most of the other unfortunate ones when it’s lights out. Thank you Westinghouse for such a great pruduct. Just got my WGen9500TFc and got pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to set up. Build quality jumps at you when looking at it as well as the accessories and parts included. The wheels have double wheel bearings. It also comes with a remote start and both, the propane line and 25' line for NG.

I purchased the generator about 4 months ago after outages in our area. While I have not had to use the generator, I found it easy to set up and prepared for use. The generator started up immediately and responded to the remote starter right away. I am pleased with our decision to choose Wesrtinghouse!

The WGen9500 is easy to start even with the pull cord. I pulled it slowly to make sure everything was freed up and then the first quick pull it started right up. The generator is the perfect setup with the many different outlets and a 50 amp plugin. The remote start is a great addition for older folks. I bought this to replace our older Generac generator that has served us well through all of the hurricanes since 1996. The WGen9500 has the features I wish our Generac had with more power to boot. We decided on another portable generator instead of a standby unit due to flooding potential in our area. I have been running it each week to exercise it and make sure it's ready with all of the hurricanes we have had this year. It never struggles to start and is perfect for our needs!

Love how solid this unit is built. Great layout and runs great. However, as a portable, and possibly used in some exposed conditions, I am a bit concerned about the thin wires loosely exposed and dangling from under the control panel. Maybe reroute or protect wires? Super easy to get running and supplied oil was bonus, but did need to top it up.

After extensive research I purchased the WGen9500 to power my necessary household electronics. The electrician hooked up the transfer switch and cable box and now I'm able to power my 3 ton heat pump unit, fridge, and necessary lighting. Customer service was great. After unpacking I couldn't find remote. Less than 24 hrs after my call, I received a call and the service rep walked me through the places to look and sure enough it was attached to the pull start cord. Setup was easy - 2 pads and 2 wheels. Easily movable with handle. Hopefully will never lose power but if we do it is nice knowing that I have something that will power the essentials.
