The side (small, hand held) unit never worked. The main unit does not very well. Ready to throw it away. Bad way to learn, AND expensive lesson.

bought this on 12/23/2024. it worked intermittently for a few times. the third time I used tin will not vacuum seal. it only seas with no suction. I had a no name brand before that did the job. this does not.

Had to replace a model 3930 FoodSaver unit due to failure of the power cord as it enters the unit. The cord insulation was exposed at entry point, ultimately causing an electrical short. This was a product design problem. The unit worked well prior to this.

He has been able to store so much using this foodsaver!! I was a little worried about ease of use because I've never used one before but it's so easy to learn! It works perfectly!

been having a riot using it for everyday fresh veggies, even used it for a rib roast on sale!!!! anxious to use it after the holidays for leftovers!!! No regrets so far and not anticipating any. Just wishing the bags were a little less expensive...however i will be watching for coupons and specials on them. will definely share my "food stories" to my friends. cant wait to start baking Monday and store baked good in my newfound friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have bought one years ago. This is such an easy great product. I buy pork loin and cut for pork chops. I now can seal my chops to keep them from burning in the freezer It is easy to store in the pantry and allows for my food to stack neatly in the freezer. The sealer is easy to operate. Such a great product

this is my second food saver. last one lasted 10 yrs.

Did not even power on. Have to drive 50 miles to return.
