This is so much easier to use than the upright one that finally wore out. It doesn't take up much counter space and The bags are placed in a tray that is exposed so it's easy to line them up for sealing. And too there is less waste when using rolls, only a bout 2” instead of 4”. Highly recommend this product.

I feel like the purchase price of the Food Saver is a great value and worth it. It pays for it self very quick when taking into consideration how much money is saved/not wasted when using the Food Saver to keep product from spoiling. The versatility of being able to use it to seal products that are ment to be refrigerated, frozen, and/or shelf stable goods. Then the fact that it can seal dry and/or wet stuff is the "icing on the cake".

This is my third one in 20 years. For the two of us this works the best. Shop at Sam’s for meat and package “our size” amounts to freeze. Then take out what you need

For years I have debated if I would actually use a vacuum sealer, and when I happened to find this at a reduced price, I decided to give it a try. No matter how much you wrap food for the freezer, it always seems to get some freezer ice/burn after a certain point. I am so happy with this purchase! I have done meats, fruit for both freezer and refrigerator and so far it is doing what it advertises. I also bought the kit that allows you to seal lids on Mason jars (not from Sam's as you did not have it). Those adapters for both size lids are great as well. Of course that does NOT replace canning; strictly for storing only. Those provide an airtight fit and you do not need to use the lid rings. I also used the bags that were enclosed for food items, and that feature works as described. This item will be something I use very often, especially for items I get on sale and want to freeze. Very pleased with this!

I would be lost without my Food Saver, especially this time of the year when it’s time to put up corn and kale and spinach and other vegetables for the winter. Also, it’s great when things that you use all the time on sale to stock up and save money.

This works great for my family! When I purchase meats or cheese in bulk, I like to use this to reduce down into smaller units and vacuum pack foods for longer storage life. I also process many of our garden vegetables and fruits so this machine is put to good use! It seals well with either dry or wet ingredients. It comes with rolls of bagging material so you can make any size bag or use the premade bags for quick packaging. It’s easy to write on to record date and item and makes organizing my freezer a breeze!

Easy to use- includes so much! I bought what I believed to be a cheaper sealer from Walmart plus 2 sizes of bags. Broken from the get go! This vacuum sealer was more reasonable and noticeably more durable with added luxuries like cutter and attached hoses for more functionality. Easy to use right out of box even though I had never used anything like this before. I am amazed at how many bags and custom bag rolls this comes with! I am so happy I sealed smoked pulled pork. We smoke a lot of meat so this will be so nice to have!

Love this vacuum seal machine. I can split all my Sam’s purchases into smaller packets and store until needed. This machine comes with supplies and there is room under the lid for a roll that can be cut to size with the convenient sliding cutter on the machine.

The things I like about this vacuum sealer: it's a nice compact design that doesn't take up a lot of space for storage, it has longevity when sealing all lot of bags, and it's a lot quieter than our other sealer from FoodSaver. I was hoping it would work faster, but it still took just as long. It fits the same bags that we already had from the previous machine. It's not as intuitive as I would have liked, but there are instructions so it's easy to figure out. I just couldn't plug it in and start without consulting the directions like I wanted to. So far I think it's a good product worth the price.

This machine is good for the price, it will do the job. It works well. I just had to throw away my old foodsaver machine, it was 15 years old and was excellent until it finally wore-out. So I am comparing this new one to an old one which was a much better model, probably 'top of the line' for its day. I miss that old one.
