Easy to use- includes so much! I bought what I believed to be a cheaper sealer from Walmart plus 2 sizes of bags. Broken from the get go! This vacuum sealer was more reasonable and noticeably more durable with added luxuries like cutter and attached hoses for more functionality. Easy to use right out of box even though I had never used anything like this before. I am amazed at how many bags and custom bag rolls this comes with! I am so happy I sealed smoked pulled pork. We smoke a lot of meat so this will be so nice to have!

This machine is good for the price, it will do the job. It works well. I just had to throw away my old foodsaver machine, it was 15 years old and was excellent until it finally wore-out. So I am comparing this new one to an old one which was a much better model, probably 'top of the line' for its day. I miss that old one.

I would be lost without my Food Saver, especially this time of the year when it’s time to put up corn and kale and spinach and other vegetables for the winter. Also, it’s great when things that you use all the time on sale to stock up and save money.

This is a game changer. Before I bought the food saver I would end up with a lot of spoiled food because I couldn't eat it all in time. Since buying the foodsaver now I can freeze individual portions pop them in the freezer and then cook them a week later. I would recommend this for a large family or just 1-2 people. Best thing I e bought in years.

This is my second FoodSaver! Had the first one for over 8 yrs. Have used it to death-literally! Can't calculate the amt of money it has saved my family, not just preserving food but buying it on sale, vacuum sealing it & freezing for later use, esp meat and left overs. Can't manage our kitchen or budget without it.

Actually returned this item as it was not like the one we previously owned (which died after 8 years of constant use). This one does not have as good an accessory hose and left much to be desired. It will do the basic sealing very well, but using it with the accessory hose did not work very well. It did not seal complete. I We opted for the $249 model from another source as we use it multiple times a week.

This is the second FoodSaver I have purchased from Sam's because I literally wore out the first one. They changed the design just slightly making it easier to use and for the price vs others on the market at twice the price at specialty hunting and outdoor gear stores, it can't be beat.

It works extremely well sealing meat, fish, etc. for the freezer. With the cost of meat now, it's great to be able to preserve its quality. The consumables are expensive, so I'll try using it with other media and see how that goes. It's great to have non-leaking meat defrosting in the fridge!

Purchased this as a gift to my son & daughter-in-law. I took it to them in North Carolina. While there, we used the FoodSaver to vacuum seal several bushels of fresh peas, butter beans & corn. It was quick & easy. I would highly recommend it.

This food saver is okay but the previous one was much better. This one has extra steps that make it more work. Unfortunately they no longer make the previous one. I find the snaps on the corners difficult to use.
