Wouldn’t even turn on

I purchased this for pickup and wouldn’t even turn on. The original box was slightly damaged and when I returned it to get replacement, I noticed water damage around the area. The second one didn’t work either.

Used this for the last 4 months. Worked well have the time. Now does not seal the easiest of things. Had a Nesco for 5 years that worked until the seal finally wore out. Getting rid of this piece of crap and going back to a Nesco

Just don’t

Terrible terrible model of food saver-if you want to do a lot of anything in a timely manner do not purchase this model. Takes forever to seal-sucks and sucks and sucks and then you have to manually hit the seal button. I’m an intelligent person so this is not user error. If you’re a homesteader and put up a lot of food-avoid this like the plague. So disappointed in this purchase.

Working with FoodSaver

Like many others, I tried to download the instructions and register this product with FoodSaver, but was unable because it was not listed on their site. I spoke to their customer service and they happily registered the product for me (even though apparently you didn't need to) and emailed me a copy of the instructions. While it would be better if FoodSaver wasn't treating these units as second class, their support was friendly and emailed the instructions right away.

Never worked

Unfortunately mine was defective. Did not work out of the box and I spent over an hour trying to seal my beef before finally giving up and putting it in the freezer without vacuum sealing. I used 4 bags, troubleshot the machine in every suggested way and was never able to get it to vacuum.

saves a ton of money

I bought this about 6 months ago because I knew mine was getting old and stuggling. I just got it out and set it up. There are a few features my old one has that this one doesn’t but at least I have one. It does have a smoother vacuum and does not over vacuum. I am not sure how well I will like pressing down on the front corners to lock it. As I get older, things like that are not as easy. I have has a foodsaver since the early 1990s and will always have one. It has saved us a lot of money by preserving our food.

I have used the food saver system for about 20 years and it has saved me a lot of money throughout the years. I’ve had to replace the machine 2 times in that period and now I have to replace the machine again and I’m so glad that Sam’s Club has a special of $25 off so it’s even a better price. I don’t know what I would do without this machine.

Model not supported by Food Saver

I'm currently trying to use my product it didn't come with a user guide for some reason and the company doesn't even have this model as an option so you can't even register the thing and I use the QR code that was on the front of the machine. When I tried to communicate with the company they say they're having technical difficulties so you can't even correspond with them.
