I bought this a few weeks before the winter storm came and unpacked it at the last minute. The quick start instructions were easy to understand and the control panel is laid out very well. I like all the features especially knowing the inverter feature will provide protection for my power sensitive electronics. I like the electronic starting and the remote but the engine pull starts easily in an emergency. It runs very quiet and even more so in Eco Mode. No more listening to a screaming generator. The unit appears to be very well engineered and the build quality is second to none. My only gripe is really petty but I wish the oil access door was a bit larger...I have large hands and installing the oil was a bit tricky. Short story...buy it...you won't be disappointed.

Have only had this for a few days but no regrets. Best value, quite, light, powerful, efficient, starts easy, compact, packaged well so no damage when I received mine. Mine will be used mainly for submersible water well operation during power outages. The only thing I would like to see different is a gas cap with a locking vent so it doesn’t leak when tilted while in tow. Thanks Westinghouse for a great product and thanks PED for good service.

I just unpacked it and it won’t start. Called the 800 in the literature and after wasting 1/2 on the phone they tell me I have to call a different number in Canada (not in the literature). Called and I am still waiting for a call back. It won’t start or run on gas but it did run on propane.

Just received a couple days ago. Delivery via FedEx Ground was a bit clunky as it was four straight days that the FedEx website stated delivery was coming. Once I got the generator and set it up and put it through a trial run, I am glad to have made this purchase. Though slightly heavier the extra power and quieter operation is worth the upgrade from the Champion 3500w inverter we use to take on camping trips.

I bought this last fall but didn’t use it until recently. It is everything I hoped for. Easy to follow directions, and it started up immediately. I used it on propane only so far, but even though it has less power than with gas it still was adequate for my needs!

Love the bells and whistles this generator comes with. You can't beat it for the price. Comes set up for propane with no extras needed. Ordered via Samsclub. Box was beat up but the generator was in decent shape. No scratches. A few spots in the blue plastic that seemed light in color like it had been hit or stressed, that or they just had inconsistent coloring. Quiet, although the frame has a bit of rattle to it. Hoping I can find something loose. Noticeably a little louder in that than other models, although exhaust seems quiet from afar. Had lots of trouble starting on its first time. Ended up killing battery I tried so much, and it wouldn't start with the pull cord either. Charged battery up (while it let it rest) and it took right off 2 hrs later after it had rested. Seems to start great now.

We bought this generator for an out of town RV trip that we were taking. We knew we would have no hookups and this helped to power the hotwater in the RV as well as lighting and fans. It was a wonderful addition to our trip. We also have lost power a few times since our trip that this generator has saved all of our food from our fridge and freezer. We used it to power the fridge and freezer and only went through 5 gallons of gas over 3 days.

Bought this 2 months ago to run my RV’s air conditioning while boondocking in the summer. Love that it’s duel fuel and has a remote to turn it on and off. Changed the oil after 50 hours use- make sure you have a 10mm wrench and elevate it or oil will get everywhere. Overall, great investment. Added a bike alarm to it and bike chain to deter theft.

This generator has clean power and will run all my necessities during a black out. My 5 saltwater reef tanks, TV, Internet, lights and refrigerator are all able to run with this generator. It's size is smaller than I expected and the noise level is much lower than most gas generators. Set up was very easy and the electronic start remote was perfect to start the generator from inside the house. The dual fuel allows me to keep propane on hand then fill gas cans when the power goes out.

I bought this to power up our camper, this is our first camper, to include first owned generator. With everything running, were only at 50% power, with AC running full max. It's quiet, and the duel fuel is great for Boondocking- no gas, no problem, flip a switch and GO! 5 out 5 stars all the way!
