Compact, quiet, well-designed. 2 grab bars allow for lifting by two people. Wheels make it easy to move around. Tested using propane, works great. USB "A" ports allow for charging electronic devices directly from the generator. Sine wave output. Starts from battery or using pull rope. Eco mode runs only as hard as needed for the load - it doesn't run full out all the time which means quieter than many others. About 110 lbs with no gasoline.

Unpacked it and added the oil and connected the battery, used the included hose for the propane hook up and it started right up!!!! I heard it was quiet, but man up close and personal soooo quiet!! Built a generator box for it, but don;t think i will have to use it!!! Thanks Westinghouse for a really good product.

Bought the generator a couple weeks ago. It started on the first try once I finished getting it ready. I was surprised that the battery wasn't secured before the generator was boxed up for shipment. Battery access opening could be larger and the rubber strap that is to hold battery in place should be secured with a fastener on the back side. It is very hard with the small opening to hold the strap up while putting the battery in the generator. Some sort of hook to hold the strap up while inserting the battery would be nice also. I don't look forward to replacing the battery when it eventually will be needed. The access panel to fill it with oil and then check the oil level could be bigger also. couple items that might have kept me from purchasing this generator if I had known about them before purchasing. Says it was built in Viet Nam, maybe they have smaller hands. Evidently they didn't want to secure the battery before it took the long journey to the United States. Maybe they thought it was a pain to do also since didn't do it. So far seems like a nice product which could be a lot better if the above modifications were made.

This is my first generator ever, so I watched a lot of YouTube videos and reviews before purchasing. This is my first impression, but so far so good. Out the box after adding the oil and connecting the battery, it started up on the first push on the remote using propane. I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to start using it to see how it performs as a backup power generator.

Really like the features... dual fuel, quiet, remote electric start, 30A RV connection, LED display. Battery stopped working after only two weeks, going to contact customer support to try and get battery replacement... will see how that goes. If not for hassle with failed battery, would have been 5 stars

Planned a long road trip out west and will be doing some Boondocking. I Bought the generator for my Bighorn 5th wheel camper. The size and exhaust layout work well to store in front compartment. It could be hooked up with an exhaust extension for outside ventilation. With the remote key fob you can start or stop the generator on demand.

Received the generator, added oil, connected battery, read the start up instructions etc. I had already wired my home breaker panel with a separate 30 amp single pole breaker, UL interlock kit and 10/3 wiring to the an outside weatherproof box that houses my 30amp male plug head that I just pull out thru the box to a distance that is away from the house and plug into my generator at it’s safe location to run. Turned of the main breaker off at the electrical panel and turned on my new 30 breaker and switched on the desired loads 1 at a time. Furnaces, refrigerators, small freezer, fireplace, assorted lights can all run at the same time as necessary. They just can’t all start up at the same time. Worked flawlessly! Can’t wait to try it boondocking with our RV.

I'm very happy with all the great features that come with the IGEN4500DF. Same features are usually only found on more expensive generators.. I love the extended handle for easy maneuvering and the easy transfer from gas to propane. I would definitely recommend this product to those looking for a great buy!

When we first started it in our back yard, it was very loud. Luckily it was because it was surrounded by fences and our house. We moved it to the front yard and it was much quieter. The remote has worked properly the few times we have used it, and the running off propane is working great. Once we get a couple more hours on it I plan to swap the included oil out and try normal gas. The eco mode ramps up perfectly, and it powered our test 1500w heater perfectly fine. Looking forward to using it on our RV.

Great features. Docked 1 star for difficulty starting it. I filled it with stabilizer treated gas and allowed to run for 10 minutes after initial setup. Several weeks later it would not start after many attempts. Started right up after using starter fluid.
