I was looking to replace my portable inverter that was stolen while at Canyon De Chelly on the Navajo Nation this summer. This unit is a bit larger, heavier, quicker and more powerful. Looking to use on my next adventure to the east coast and Florida Keys.

we bought this item because we live in an area that seems to have a lot of power outages. we live in an apartment complex so compact is very important to us. This not only fits well in our space it also has an option to use propane , which is very handy.

We bought this for our 30 foot RV and wanted the wattage to run AC and microwave at the same time in the few instances. Not having to carry around gas and just using the standard RV propane tanks and we bought a normal grill propane tank too for mobility bits so nice not worrying about gas spilling any where.

The access points for the battery and oil are definitely made for people with small hands. Scratched my fingers all up getting the pre-starting things done. The large access panel feels flimsy because the mounting points are just that, two pieces of flimsy plastic. There is a tab near the top corner that's definitely gonna get broken off during the first few times removing it. The rubber covers for the outlets and other ports seem like they'll do a good job keeping things dry/clean. The funnel that came with it is a joke. Hoping I can find an upgraded replacement for it. It's too rigid and the opening at the top of the funnel is too small and will very likely cause you to spill a fee times before you figure out that you have to pour at a glacially slow pace. Tried the pull start, single pull to get it going. It was a bit warmed up though, a cold start might be different. Overall, I wish I'd grabbed an open frame version. I'm not look forward to doing ANY of the maintenance through those inadequate little openings. I couldn't find a duel fuel at the right size though. Maybe I shoulda tried another brand.

I purchased this unit brand new on 8-30-24. I registered and did a review to get a free cover for it. At this point I was happy with my purchase. Then… On the 2nd trip with around 15 hours on the unit, it failed and caused the trip to be ended early. I took it to the closest certified service center and it has been there for over 30 days. They are having a hard time getting the parts from Westinghouse. As I am waiting for repair I never did receive my free cover. They sent a chunk of steel in a box. As of today the unit is still sitting on a repair table torn apart. I asked for a replacement unit because i had another trip planned and was told the replacement parts are being sent for repair. Well it is too late. I needed the unit yesterday prompting this review . I went out and bought a different brand for a cheaper price and it is running with no issues. This purchase was a complete let down.

Good so far. I have only used in break in for a few hours. Ran lights, hest gun, iron no problem. Specifically bought for 30 amp travel trailer. It is quiet, but not silent, definitely better than standard open frame generator. Only gripe so far is the engine service cover panel requires 2 different tools to remove fasteners because Westinghouse used 2 different types. Wish the propane connection was a quick connect and the hose should be longer. Tue test will be when I finally use it all weekend powering trailer.

I bought this generator a couple of weeks ago, right after Milton, and we could not be happier. The intial setup was easy, took less than 5 minutes. I started with propaine to see how it would go and it fired right up! No problems at all. Tested a load with an AC unit, fridge and fan, and it worked like a champion. Very happy!

I have completed the 5 hour break in period and the unit has performed well. The power is stable and the unit is very quiet. It picks up the load of my RV AC well when I first start it, but it has some problem after the unit has been running for awhile. I hope this will improve with usage.

I'm so glad I purchased this Westinghouse generator! It's easy to start, provides great power with 30 amps 120 volt which is all I need since all of my home utilities are natural gas. I can get by with no oven and clothes dryer during a power outage. This keeps the lights on, hot water since it's gas and even furnace that is gas. Nice and quiet and easy to move around, great for emergency backup.

Last month we lost power for 5 days due to a hurricane. We did not own a generator and lost food in both our refrigerator and our full freezer in the garage. Afterwards, I researched generators and with the excellent reviews and the features we desired, the Westinghouse was what we decided upon. We are so thankful to have it sitting in our garage now!
