Clean power for modern electronic appliances.

Runs on propane (less efficient but cheaper) or gas and is more quite than most generators. Remote start is a plus as well. Built in wheels and handle makes moving it around easy. Only weighs 98 lbs, so it's relatively portable. I can lift it and move it instead of pulling it without much issue. Access panels make it easy to get to the inside components. Built in battery charge port is nice as well. Only wish it was easier to drain the oil.

Easy set up, first impression

Just unboxed and test started iGen4500DF. Easy assembly, hooked up to propane and started easily. Remote start works great from inside the house. Amazed how quiet it is. Cannot give much more of a review because this is a purchase I hope to not have to use any time soon (bought for emergency use only).

iGen5000FDc Generator is Impressive

I purchased an iGEN5000DFc generator in July ’24 and it has exceeded all my expectations. This inverter generator is amazingly quiet, powerful, and very fuel efficient. I especially like the electric start, LED status display, quality, and relatively small machine footprint without sacrificing generous amperage. I currently use the generator during power outages which typically run for several days at a time (happens quite often here in the Gulf Coast) to run two refrigerators, a large freezer, floor fans, TV/computers, and various lights; and there is still amperage to spare to run a large portable AC unit, clothes washer and dryer. Even though it is a dual-fuel, I have only been using LP so far. I highly recommend this generator.

Powerful small size inverter generator

This is a well made inverter generator with enough power to run a decent size RV AC unit. The bonus is that is dual fuel and can run off of propane or gas. The unit also came with all of the needed accessories so I didn't have to purchase them separately.

So far so good

Having to leave a review for a free bonus item. So far so good, have to install high altitude kit before starting up so I can’t speak to how it runs yet. Also, will have a review of customer service since I’m having to hunt down the kit. That part isn’t easy so far!

Great price good feature set

I bought this generator for use as a backup power source during outages. Ran on both propane and gas and it runs perfectly. I looked at several brands and selected the iGen4500DF because of the features such as dual fuel, electric start, plenty of power, display panel, it is relatively quiet for a decent price.

Great product

Really happy with the generator, starts easily and is quieter than I was expecting. It’s super easy to move around with the telescopic handle. The oil plug is a bit difficult to get to when adding or checking oil but everything else about the generator is a pleasure.

Meets my travel trailer needs

Had the generator for a week and it works great. Remote start/stop is wonderful for morning coffee making without going outside. Fits under the tonneau cover on my F150. Max height really is 20.5 inches....perfect. Only minor negative is strapping down the unit so it doesn't slide around. Manual says to only use the handles on the top and NOT wrap a strap (or anything) around the body of the unit.

good right out of the box.

generator arrived day of a power outage. with light fading I was able to add oil connect propane tank and get it running the fridge and kerosene heater modem, router, laptop with extension cords as I was not able to find the correct generator to house cable locally and need to wait for delivery. been running overnight 12 hours in 40-30 degree weather. luckily no rain.

Works great!!

We purchased this to use with our 38 foot fifth wheel toy hauler, as the onboard Onan generator uses a ton of gas when dry camping. We used this when dry camping, and it ran both ACs and lights perfectly. Only overloaded when we accidentally forgot and turned on the electric water heater with both ACs running, which we knew going in would be a no no on a single unit. It didn’t run quite as long as indicated, but we ran it two consecutive nights, one night on 3.4 gallons of gas and one night on a full 20 pound propane tank, both night starting at 8 PM running 1AC, and we Did turn on the hot water heater for showers. The temp outside was in the 70s overnight, so we didn’t need to run both ACs, but I’m sure we could have if needed. With gas, it ran from 8 PM until 9 AM (13 hours). With propane, it ran from 8 PM until 7:45 AM ( 11.75 hours). So although not as long as Westinghouse says, it’s still ran and kept up all night like our onboard does, but used way less fuel, and we didn’t have to refill in the middle of the night like with our smaller standalone generator. It’s not the quietest on the market but it’s close enough and we love that it’s dual fuel!
