Great product

Really happy with the generator, starts easily and is quieter than I was expecting. It’s super easy to move around with the telescopic handle. The oil plug is a bit difficult to get to when adding or checking oil but everything else about the generator is a pleasure.

Easy to get up and running.

Just got this iGen4500DF and ran for a few hours to break it in. Tried the conversion from has to LP and vice versa and was as seamless while running as advertised. Ran under load for another hour and seems to be something I can rely on for years to come when remote camping or to power my refrigerators and freezers when we inevitably lose power again.

Love the generator

Took 3 months for the generator to arrive. Ordered in Feb did not receive it until late May. Added the oil, connected the battery, connected to propane. Started right up. Would recommend the propane connection be upgraded to a quick release system. One question I have is dealing with "Switching fuel sources". On page 11 (item15) of the manual, it states you cannot switch fuel while running, but on page 18, it states you can.

I like the dashboard. Easy to read and use

Bought this about two weeks ago. Just got it. Took it out the box today and running it through the break in procedure with the break oil provided. It started right away. Ran it a little while on gas and decided to finish the break in on propane. Easy to hook up and switch fuel supply. Runs smoother on propane than gas. But that makes sense, I expected that. I am an old propane guy. Engines always run better on propane.

Very nice genset. A little noisier than expected.

Very nice genset. A little noisier than expected. The oil shipped w/genset will overflow if you pour it all into the motor. Leave about an inch in the bottle. For the breakin I used a couple of electric heaters (ouside) that have thermostats to vary the load.

Great for RVing

I bought this a little over a month ago and the flexibility of gasoline or propane is great. The generator was easy to set up and both fuel types work equally well. This sits well in the truck bed (locked in) and produces plenty of power. Highly recommended.

IGen4500DG

I’ve owned this generator for about 1 month and even though I haven’t used it to power anything in an emergency situation as intended, I highly recommend this unit for the following reasons: 1)Starts right up, right out of the box and the couple of times I started it afterwards. 2)Duel fuel - both gas and propane worked flawlessly so far. 3)Quiet compared to other bigger generators. 4)Enough wattage to use in an emergency situation in a compact, easy to move/store size. Note: The automatic choke switch was attached and functional In mine. (Others reported a problem where their units had choke switch not plugged in - easy fix either way. ) I feel mine is running a little rough through break in. I’m thinking about changing/updating spark plug to see if this helps as others have stated.

Works great

I have not put a large load on the generator. However, The generator was packaged well, it came with everything needed, other than fuel. I tested all functions of starting with both fuel types. Starts right up and is quiet. I plugged a few item in to make sure it was working properly. So far so good!

IGen4500DF Runs all I need

Still just breaking it in but so far on first day all went without a hitch. I am currently running my big garage on a circuits without an issue. This includes my standup freezer. Have not tried to run my welder yet as well. Way better and quieter than my old Biggs and Stratton 4500! Love that remote start too! Gonna use this baby on our travel trailer.this summer.

iGen4500DFcv

Great product. No remote start, but smooth easy starting pull. Nice tool kit especially threaded oil filler tube. Filled with minimal mess. Nice access panels. Very quiet compared to standard gen. 80dB right in front at controls at 50% load. Eco mode awesome. Idle speed at no load and RPM only increases based on load. Handled 2K watt microwave only 50% load using 30amp plug with 30amp to 20amp adapter from Harbor Freight. Nice LED display of power, volts, and run time. Propane easy to use. No mess, fuel additives or storage problems. Can use gas, but I plan to keep using propane.
