Perfect for Florida Power Outages

We haven't had to use this for an extended amount of time but we have fired it up with both propane and gas and after a few times troubleshooting the instant start, it worked perfectly. Highly recommend for a smaller generator, that is easy to move and not super loud, for those power outages during hurrican season, easy to store.

Did alot of research

Did a lot of research before buying this generator for home and trailer use. Read from reviews that it is incredibly quiet and YES, it is. Very impressed with the easy setup and overall operation of the generator. So far, I am pleased with the purchase.

Very nice quality and feature rich inverter!

So far my experience with this generator has been mostly great. There are only three things that I've noticed so far. 1. When I first started the generator for the first while it kept shutting off after a minute or two. No idea what caused it and I have not had a problem since even when running it for 10-12 hours to keep my camper cool. 2. The protection system is a little funky sometimes. I get that it is important to have the overload protection in place so this isn't exactly a fault of westinghouse but I feel like it engages a little to often. If my AC cycles on and off to fast the inverter trips. This is a little problematic because I was hoping to trust this system with my dogs in the camper however I don't feel safe doing so. 3. When powering my 14000 BTU portable AC, it's hard to get the AC started. It'll start up just fine and all but I believe the initial draw messes with the compressor when it tries to draw. This doesn't happen with the camper AC. The portable AC will run but the compressor doesn't kick on so it just blows out hot air. Usually just a few minutes of messing around with it I'll eventually be able to get the AC to kick on. For #2 I can say for now that I have not had my camper AC cycle on and off quick enough to cause this issue. This has only happened when I was playing with the AC and turned it off to test its starting power, turned back off, then turned it back on. This quick cycle trips the breaker. But since it does this I am very afraid that if a really hot day happens that it might cycle to fast and shut off. I just can't trust the system enough to keep my dogs alive in very hot weather. Idk if it'll ever happen but just no lol. Apparently the auto choke has some issues on some of these models. Idk if I just got a good model or that the issue was resolved. Mine did NOT experience this auto choke issue and even if they do I heard Westinghouse has a fix for it plus its apparently an easy fix to do at home.

Glad to have dual fuel capability

After our neighborhood suffered a snow/icestorm last month & lost power for nearly 3 days, we had to move to a hotel to keep our elderly 89 year old grandfather & 4 year old kid warm. We are so glad this is now ready for our next outage. I especially like the propane feature, so we don't have to burn gasoline & hopefully require less maintenance.

Has ALL the features I need for my RV application

I am keeping this portable so lighter weight was important. Fired right off after adding oil and prepping. Very quiet and Smooth operation. Love the duel fuel option for backup camping and they send the hose and regulator with it. My buddy liked it so much he ordered one too.

Super quiet and easy to use

I bought this generator to help get through an extended power outage. I liked that is was dual fuel as I wanted to run off propane cylinders as the last generator I had always had carburetor problems due to old gas. This generator was rated as quiet but didn't know what that meant in the real world. I was very pleased. I set it up just outside our back door and it fired right up. Closed the door and all I could hear inside was a gentle hum. Right now it's running 2 refrigerators, all lights, and TV's in the house. I didn't know it came with a remote start but have to say it was a HUGE bonus. We can turn it off when we go to bed at night and start it back up in the morning without leaving the house! We have an old motorhome and the generator was trash so we've only camped where we can get shore power. But this little beauty is going in! It's light enough that I can pick it up and put on the slide out tray. It comes with a collapsable handle like on suit cases so it's very easy to move around (they need to show in promotional pics and packaging as its a strong selling point).

iGen4500Dfc Inverter Generator

This is a well-built small powerhouse. It's not too heavy and easy to maneuver. Love the duel fuel option. I also love how quiet the generator is and can be important when you have neighbors close by. Very happy with my decision to purchase this generator.

Dual fuel silent type generator

Bought this to be prepared for the hurricane season. I chose the silent/quiet type and this did not disappoint. It's not as loud as the open type generators and my electrician got amazed with the noise level when we fired it up. Of course it won't power the AC but I just wanted something that will get us by and not that noisy so we could still sleep at night.

Almost perfect.

Set up instructions were clear and concise. Packaging was solid. Dialing in the correct oil level was somewhat tedious because of it previously being test run with oil at the factory. Residual oil in the motor resulted in only partial use of the otherwise exact quantity of included bottled of oil. Connected the battery and propane it fired right up an flawlessly powered through its break-in hours. My only gripes are it not having an OEM quick disconnect set up for the propane and the short propane hose. I very nearly went with a Champion for the quick disconnect feature. Only other suggestion is to move the rolling handle set up so it lifts from the top of the unit which would make deployment of the handle much more efficient.

Best unit in its class after lots of reviewing!

I just purchased this unit a couple weeks ago. After several weeks of investigation across lots of platforms reading reviews and watching video's of actual users. I'm a geek enough I made a spreadsheet to compare the models and this one won! After receiving it packaging was excellent and the generator was in perfect condition, took about 15 minutes to read the instructions and get the oil in etc then fired right up using the remote start! it's quiet enough to talk right next to it. I tested on a light load right away and so far its been perfect! We're heading out for a 2 week vacation, using a fifth wheel camper where I plan to power an AC unit, fridge and some lights, if I run into any problems I'll update this review but so far its a perfect choice for us.
