Add oil, gas, connect battery then pulled slowly to distribute oil 3 times. Started first pull after that. Let it warm up then put some load on it. Electric and remote start work great. Plenty quiet, seems flawless thus far. The run time seems to beat others out there and I'm confident I can run everything I need to in my rv with this. Run time indicator is really useful. Has a solid well built feel to it and the handles and extendable handle are very sturdy.

This is one of quietest generators I've ever heard. Easily powers our 27ft trailer travel with ease. Lasts a good 16-20 hours on one tank of gas depending on what you are running in your RV at the time. Would definitely purchase this again and recommend to friends.

It can be stressful trying to be sure you buy the right generator. I watched a lot of videos and looked t a lot of generators/reviews. I decided to go with the iGen4500 and am extremely satisfied. This is a solid generator, had easy setup and is quiet, which is what I am looking for while camping with a 35' camper. The remote start and duel fuel are a great plus. Great generator for the money.

I really like this generator. It has sufficient surge watts to kick off the compressor on our portable air conditioner. It is very easy to use with remote control start and stop. It is very quiet compared to other generators I've been around. We run ours from the patio and when we are inside the house you can barely hear it. Very satisfied!

I bought this last week to use with my camper. I liked the dual fuel feature since my camper uses propane as well, an extra tank serves a dual purpose. The size was perfect to fit in my truck bed with the bed cover on. I also recently used it to power some equipment while I was at my boat working! I connect a propane tank and pushed the start button and it started right up. The quiet operation makes the wife happy! That's another plus. It goes right along with my larger 9500DF that powers my whole house.

New Generator works great right out of the box. Easy set-up. Even though instructions say to fill the oil tank with provided bottle, watch out for small over pour. No problem running our Travel Trailer AC unit on either propane or gas. Need to put more hours on it, but so far its Awesome!

I bought this at Christmas to do some camping and contract work. I have used it every week and it has ran well! very quite, easy to move and has plenty of power. The remote works great! Fuel efficient and love the read out of power and time running on fuel!

I just bought this generator. I have not used it yet, but it appears to be very solidly constructed. It is every bit of 105 pounds. I like the fact that it can run on propane so I don't have to worry about the fuel going bad. The manual says the first oil change should be after 25 hours, but many people on-line suggest much sooner. Also, it says not to exceed 50% load for first 5 hours of operation. That seems like a long time to break in. I am looking forwarding to testing and having this unit ready for the next power outage. Packaging was damaged, but unit appears to be no worse for wear. Fortunately many on-line have advised to fill the oil reservoir carefully and test frequently to avoid over filling. Will be buying a gen tent to operate on back deck.

I bought one of the regular gasoline Igen4500 last year and it was absolutely awesome. I just sold it to a friend to buy this Dual fuel model. When I first prepped it and started it, it had a little bit of noise. I thought it may be rod knock. I heat cycled it several times. then ran it at 1/4 load a couple of times and then changed the oil. The oil was silver with metal flakes in it. I ran the new oil for about 30 minutes and changed it again, more metal flakes in it. This was not the normal break in for the first unit I bought. We will see I guess.

I was looking for maximum power in a dual fuel inverter generator. After a lot of research this is the generator I chose based on features and reviews. I am very pleased with my decision. The igen 4500DF is easy to use and extremely quiet. I recommended this to a friend who has also purchased this generator.
