It took a while, but Westinghouse did send a replacement generator for the reconditioned unit that had an overload problem in the inverter. Thank you! I have tested the new unit, and it is easy to start and works great. Having to have the Run switch on to start and run the generator and having it stay on after turning off with the remote is a problem, but I can live with it. JRM

This works great for our application. Runs everything in our travel trailer that is needed for a comfortable stay and is a great unit just in case for hurricane season. Love the versatility to run on propane or gas. Super easy setup and startup. Very happy with the purchase.

I'm 80 years old, therefore we needed something that we can operate. I did a lot of study beforehand. The electric start was of the utmost importance, and we needed a generator with an RV hookup. Being avid campers, the dual fuel was a real plus as we already have the propane gas on the camper. Lastly, the name Westinghouse just wraps up the whole package. Thank you for such a fine product.

Got my iGen4500 this week. Easy setup. I was a little worried because I had read some bad reviews. I suppose with any product, there can be a few isolated problems. Mine arrived undamaged with no rust in the fuel tank. Hooked up the battery, put in oil and it started right up. Measured the decibels with my smartphone app and it was 3 decibels quieter than my Ryobi at the same distance. It has a superior sound deadening foam inside that is 4x or more as thick as that in my Ryobi generator. Love the readouts. The remote key fob was already initialized and worked.

The compactness of this unit is well designed. The handle and wheels make it easy to move around. The Owner's Manual is written in clear fashion that allows for easy set up and start up. This unit starts and runs perfectly with half the sound of comparable generators.

Quiet and powerful. I had an older style 4500W generator for years. So heavy and hard to maneuver and noisy as heck. This inverter generator is quality built, innovative design, easily maneuvered and I love the features like usb charging and especially digital screen projected run time on fuel available.

The generator was easy to set up, just read and follow the directions. I use lp gas and the start up was great. Runs everything I wanted to power and I just have no complaints. It's a great product and it seems well built. It was easy to lift into the back of my pickup and the wheels are a bonus. Be sure to check the oil and fill to the fill line, not the whole quart provided.

I bought this about a year ago and just had a chance to really use it this week ,it would not starting on propane(it was about 35 degrees outside) but it fired up when I use gasoline it ran all night without any problems and that's really what you need from a generator no problems

Just received this yesterday. Easy unpacking, and very good startup information. Did all the prep, hooked up the propane, checked the lines, used the starter button and it fired right up! Very quiet generator. Put a load on it which ramped it up slightly, but still nice and quiet. Very pleased so far, can't wait to try it on the RV!

We have 12 to 14 hour power outages here in the Mohave Desert at least once a year. My wife is on oxygen and needs power 24 hrs. a day. The iGen4500DF delivers the emergency power when we need it. This is a great peace of mind. The dual fuel option lets me keep propane on hand and is much easier and safer than having 5 or 10 gallons of gas just sitting in the heat.
