Great little generator

I bought this unit despite some negative reviews about the automatic choke issue that some have experienced. Mine was perfect and I am extremely happy that it is running as expected. It's relatively quiet, and the setup was simple. I was glad I did some reading before adding the oil because it does not need the whole bottle and causes issues if overfilled. I decided to go the LP route to avoid having to mess with gasoline and the storage issues that go with it, but it's nice to have the option to use gas if needed. I am currently 4 hours into the break-in procedure and have been alternately powering multiple different items to vary the load during that time: full-size refrigerator/freezer, medium size upright freezer, large LED TV, and a lamp. I did have to invest in a few other items like a 30A extension cord, a Gen-Tent, and an adapter for the 30A receptacle on the unit. We have lost food twice this year to power outages, so this will give us some peace of mind to be able to keep some lights on and the food cold when it happens again.

Camping in the western states National Forest

Planned a long road trip out west and will be doing some Boondocking. I Bought the generator for my Bighorn 5th wheel camper. The size and exhaust layout work well to store in front compartment. It could be hooked up with an exhaust extension for outside ventilation. With the remote key fob you can start or stop the generator on demand.

Great generator

I bought this generator to power my toy hauler over a month ago and I'm very pleased with this unit. In my opinion is the is the perfect generator for camping. Great features, super quiet, most fuel efficient unit I've ever had. I will definitely recommend this unit for camping or any power needs you might have.

Westinghouse Inverter-Impressive!

While we have not yet been able to use this generator for its intended purpose to power our RV, it's clearly a quality product that works as advertised. Using it at home during breaking period and thus far impressed. Only inconveniences deal with small access doors for oil and battery. Wish they were larger.

Very Quiet in ECO MODE!

I bought this back in June to replace a similar duel fuel generator for my camper. We used it about 60 hours total so far and it has been sitting in my garage for the past 4 months. It started right up and I didn't have to charge the battery to my surprise. I really love how it's quiet when running the AC and how it gets quieter in ECO MODE!

Great unit

Arrived promptly and in mint condition, assembly was straightforward but there was too much oil which spilled on my driveway and that was frustrating since the instructions say to put the entire oil container in and there's way too much. Started on first try, works as promised. I did a good amount of research and so far, I am very pleased with this unit. I bought it as backup for some essentials - 2 fridges, phone and computer chargers but it can handle a HELLUVA lot more. I love the economy mode and the dual fuel was imperative given the shelf life & negligible maintenance of propane vs gasoline. The peace of mind of just having this unit which is very space efficient especially given its capacity and all the features is invaluable, especially in these uncertain times. Highly recommended.

Amazingly quiet and reliable

I've owned this inverter for over 2 years now and it has worked flawlessly. I have only used it with propane to keep it as clean as possible, and I do not regret my purchase one bit. It starts with just a push of a button each and every time. Absolutely love this product and highly recommend it to friends and family. This is worth every penny.

Inverter generator 5000 watt

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it's as good as advertised.Fully assembled in the box. I added the oil that came with it and gasoline. I pulled the starter cord and it worked on the second pull. It's much quieter than my other standard generator. It easily powers my 26 foot travel trailer along with the air conditioner.

Westinghouse over Honda!

I researched exhaustively and found exactly what I need in my iGen4500DF: dual fuel, inverter, fuel efficiency, and clean sine wave output. Reviews were high and I had to search to find it, but I got it and now I am ready to boondock with my camper or, more importantly, have power during the next ice storm.

Just unboxed and here's what I notice so far

1. On the upside it has exactly the 30 amp outlet I need for my camper. Very hopeful that it will be able to run the rooftop air conditioner. 2. On the downside I thought it might have a 120/240 outlet and mode which is what I'd need to use it also at home, but it doesn't. This wasn't 100% clear in the catalog because the outlets are pictured with the covers on. 3. It is nice that it comes with the wheels already on it. 4. For propane use it comes with this huge external 3-stage regulator. On the DuroMax dual fuel i had, this was built in. The manual does not mention about this. 5. The retractable handle seems a little flimsy for the weight, I'm concerned it might bend and thus bind.
