I ordered this generator last week. It was delivered upside down. I immediately unboxed and went through the start up process and it started on first try. I have not had an opportunity to run with anything connected but it was quieter than expected and I am Satisfied with my purchase.

Outstanding Design and Value. Lots of important features that a consumer desires. Co2, Dual Fuel, Easy handle for moving around, Load Display in the information centre, Sound insulation runs quiet. Well thought out and designed. Im glad I made tis choice. This is the editors choice in ChainSawJournal 2022

I lost my home to the Dixy wildfire in August 2021. So I bought a camp trailer and needed generator as there was no electricity available on my property. The iGen was the best choice for me. The inverter allows 2 generators to be combined (with the proper adapter harness) for a 50 amp hook up. I've only needed 30 amp so far. It starts easily even in subfreezing temperatures. It is quite running and produces enough electricity to power my RV and other power tools I need to rebuild dut not at the same time. At 47 hours I served the generator and found it is difficult to drain and refill engine oil with out spilling oil in the lower casing and more difficult to get the spiled oil out. The engine calls for .63qt .6l of oil, I found in mine that much will over fill the crankcase. Other than the oil change issues it is a very good generator.

I order this in June and finally received it this AM Have had it less than 2 ours have unboxed and gone through set-up and is running on Gas. I will over the next few days test using propane. A few items on propane which I would have liked was a longer hose and a quick connect on the gen. side. Starts easy and sound lever is great even in a closed grarge during the testing I'm doing.

We bought this for our 30 foot RV and wanted the wattage to run AC and microwave at the same time in the few instances. Not having to carry around gas and just using the standard RV propane tanks and we bought a normal grill propane tank too for mobility bits so nice not worrying about gas spilling any where.

Just unpacked my 4500DF. Packaging was great and despite the shipping company's best efforts, it arrived unscathed. Upon initial inspection, I'm glad I purchased this unit. The accessory kit is superb. Save the oil container to refill for your next oil change. I'm hoping this generator serves me for many years but time will tell.

I researched exhaustively and found exactly what I need in my iGen4500DF: dual fuel, inverter, fuel efficiency, and clean sine wave output. Reviews were high and I had to search to find it, but I got it and now I am ready to boondock with my camper or, more importantly, have power during the next ice storm.

Appears to be capable of everything claimed though I haven't "wrung it out". Compact. Easy to move about and store. Not too loud. Has started relatively easily so far. The manual is a little confusing in that it prescribes an external manual choke procedure when there is no external choke lever. Later the actual location of this model's choke lever is revealed. Also calls for a "fuel tank valve" lever. Haven't found that yet. It appears there are two sets of data displayed in the window: "Voltage (U) Frequency (F-) Lifetime Hours Run, Time/Maintenance" and "remaining run time (F) power output in kW (P) fuel level in liters (L) voltage output (V) and lifetime hours" It looks like it's only showing 4 of those. Generator was super simple to set up and came well packaged. Starts up first try with no issues. Lots of great features making this very handy to have around the house along with small and simple to take on the go in the RV. No issues running the A/C unit in my RV as it has plenty of power.

I purchased 10 days ago and package arrived in good shape and all items were accounted for. Filled with oil and ran on propane for 5 hours then changed the oil. Did not want to gum up the carburetor so just used propane with a light load to break it in so it will be ready when needed in the future. Plan to use to run AC on a camper when camping in places with no electricity. You need smalls hands to change the oil and it tends to get in some of the areas around the drain hole so then it continues to leak out of the bottom later. I recommend using a rag to catch the overflow. Overall satisfied at this time.
